Here's a look at a dynamic partner aerial sequence. We work on timing and moving together to create a synchronized flow that challenges both partners.

Partner stretches on the aerial hammock allow you to support each other for deeper flexibility work. It's a great way to improve mobility with a friend.

About Partner & Group Yoga

In these sessions, we use the hammock not just for individual support, but as a bridge between partners. Whether you are working on synchronized flows or providing the extra weight needed for a deeper hip stretch, having a partner changes the physics of the pose. It is less about performing a perfect move and more about communication, trust, and sharing the challenge.

Aerial yoga is often a solo journey, but doing it in a group or with a partner adds a layer of accountability and fun that keeps you motivated. When you are in a partner stretch, your partner acts as a counterbalance, allowing you to access angles you could not reach alone.

Why Partner Yoga?

  • Support & Safety: If you are nervous about inversions, having a partner there to spot you makes a huge difference in your confidence. We focus heavily on safety techniques before trying any lifts.
  • Coordination: We start with simple timing drills so you learn to move with your partner, not against them. You will quickly find that timing is everything in aerial flows.
  • Shared Progress: Failing at a new pose is much easier when you are doing it with someone else. The laughter in these classes is just as important as the workout.

My Studio Setup

My studio in Goregaon is fully equipped with professional-grade, ceiling-rigged hammocks and 4-6 inch crash mats. Because I limit these batches to 6-8 students, I can ensure that every partner drill is supervised. We use this space for everything from simple partner leg stretches to more complex acrobatic transitions. Whether you bring a friend or join a group to meet new people, the energy in these classes is always different from a solo session.
