Himalayan Yoga Retreats and Nature Treks
We bring yoga out of the studio and into the lap of the Himalayas. Join our guided retreats in Uttarakhand to ground your practice in the raw energy of forest trails and mountain streams.
From yoga on the terrace to trekking through the woods and celebrating at a hidden waterfall, this video captures the adventurous spirit of our Mukteshwar yoga retreats.

About Himalayan Treks & Scenery
You won't be practicing in a studio here. We take your mat to open terraces overlooking the Binsar sanctuary or beside hidden mountain waterfalls, integrating 'Oxygen Walks' and forest bathing into your daily Hatha flow. This is an active way to let the high-altitude air deepen your pranayama and quiet the mind, far from the distractions of city life.
Beyond the Mat: Connecting with Prana
Yoga is often seen as physical exercise, but in the mountains, it becomes a conversation with nature. When we practice in Mukteshwar or Binsar, the crisp mountain air acts as a catalyst, making our morning pranayama and restorative evening sessions feel more profound.
What Our Mountain Retreats Include
- Guided Oxygen Walks: We move beyond simple trekking. These are mindful walks through pine forests, focusing on rhythmic breathing to cleanse the lungs and heighten sensory awareness.
- Outdoor Asanas: Weather permitting, we hold our daily Hatha and Ashtanga flows outdoors. The uneven, natural terrain challenges your balance, forcing you to focus on internal alignment and core stability.
- Yogic Detox: For those staying for our 7-day programs, we integrate Shatkarma techniques like Jal Neti. Performing these cleansing rituals in the quiet of the Himalayas allows for a deeper physical and mental reset.
- Sattvic Nutrition: Food is simple, vegetarian, and prepared using local produce. It is meant to support your practice, not weigh you down.
Choosing Your Experience
Whether you are looking for a quick 3-day weekend escape to recharge or a full 7-day spiritual immersion to dive deep into philosophy and meditation, we provide the environment you need. You will be staying in quiet, residential homestays in Uttarakhand—no luxury, just clean, peaceful spaces that keep you close to the trails and the temple sites.
