My Personal Yoga Journey: Hatha and Sound Healing

My yoga practice is the foundation of every healing session I guide. Here is a glimpse into the discipline, stillness, and balance that I bring to my teaching.

A quick inversion flow after a sound bath session. Yoga is not just about the poses, but about finding balance and a new perspective, which is what I hope to share in my sessions.

Yoga is more than just bending; it is about keeping the head, neck, and spine erect and aligned. This principle of alignment is something I carry into my sound healing work.

"Through practice comes Yoga, through Yoga comes knowledge, through knowledge love, and through love bliss." This quote by Swami Vivekananda perfectly captures my journey and what I hope to offer.

About this collection

I didn't start my practice with natural strength. It took years of consistent effort to move beyond the aesthetic of poses and find true alignment, which is the same focus I bring to my sound healing sessions. When you see me in an inversion, understand that the stillness in my body in that moment is the same quality I aim to create for you in a sound bath. It is not about reaching a perfect shape; it is about finding the internal space where you can finally rest.

My path to becoming a teacher wasn't linear. Like many, I struggled with the physical demands of yoga before I understood that the poses I avoided were the ones my body needed most. This realization changed everything. I shifted my focus from just 'doing' yoga to 'living' it, integrating pranayama, Hatha, and meditation into my daily life. Today, this personal journey is the bedrock of my teaching at my studios in Juhu and Sanpada.

Why Practice Matters

Yoga is often marketed as just a series of stretches, but for me, it is a tool for mental and physical realignment. Whether I am teaching Aerial Yoga to help you build core strength or conducting a Sound Bath, the goal is the same: to help you find your center.

  • Hatha Yoga: We work on keeping the head, neck, and spine aligned. It is a slow, methodical practice that builds the stamina you need for deeper meditative work.
  • Sound Healing: My collection of Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and chimes are more than just instruments. They are tools I use to help you drop into a state of deep rest, or Yog Nidra.

I offer sessions across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, both in private settings at my studios and in group workshops. If you are looking for a space where you can explore your own practice without pressure, you are welcome here. We focus on progress, not perfection. Whether you are curious about the vibrations of a singing bowl or looking to build a consistent Hatha practice, let's explore that path together.
