Sing, Dance, and Play Music Classes for Toddlers
Music isn't a luxury, it's the heartbeat of childhood. Join our research-backed parent-child music circles to sing, move, and bond through rhythm and play.
Here we are singing sweet songs and using our hands to express the music. Simple movements like this help children connect their bodies to the rhythm and melody.
A fun moment of free dance where everyone, including parents, gets to move to the beat. This kind of unstructured movement is wonderful for self expression and gross motor development.
Using rhythm sticks is a class favorite. It's a fantastic, hands-on way for children to explore keeping a beat and understanding musical patterns.
The "Rocketship" chant is a super fun way to learn about tempo. We start slow and get faster and faster until we blast off, which always ends in giggles.
A happy jam session during our Diwali celebration. Children are exploring different instruments like maracas and drums, each finding their own way to contribute to the group's music.
Here, our little ones are exploring large frame drums. Feeling the vibration and creating sound by rubbing or tapping is a wonderful sensory and musical experience for toddlers.
In this video, our teacher Swati introduces the musical concepts of Stacato (short, detached notes) and Legato (smooth, connected notes) through dance. Learning through movement makes these ideas intuitive.
The "Allee Galloo" song is perfect for lap-bouncing and lifting. This playful interaction is not only fun but also helps your child feel the rhythm of the music in their whole body.
Peek-a-boo with scarves is always a hit. This simple game builds social skills and teaches object permanence, all while children are dancing and interacting with the music.
More peek-a-boo fun with scarves. The anticipation of the reveal is so exciting for little ones and creates a joyful, shared experience between parent and child.
About Sing, Dance, and Play!
You don't need a golden voice or rhythm skills to join our circle. Our classes are all about the shared experience of making noise, moving to the beat, and bonding with your child. Whether it is a drum jam or a simple scarf dance, we keep the focus on participation and pure, unadulterated joy rather than performance.
Our Approach to Music Making
We use the research-backed Music Together® curriculum to unlock your child's musical potential. These 45-minute sessions are designed to be a judgment-free zone where you and your little one can explore sound together. We don't worry about hitting the right note. We worry about having fun.
What Happens in a Typical Session
Each class is a mix of structure and freedom. We start by singing hello to everyone, ensuring your child feels seen and welcome. From there, we dive into:
- Instrument Play: We jam with drums, egg shakers, and bells, creating what we call 'happy, noisy chaos.'
- Movement: We use nylon scarves, parachutes, and silly dance steps to help kids connect their bodies to the music.
- Rhythm Games: Our 'Rocketship' chant and other active games help children understand tempo and pattern in a way that feels like a game, not a lesson.
- Wind Down: We always end with a gentle lullaby to bring everyone back to a calm, grounded state.
Why Parents Love It
Our classes are the perfect social experience for both you and your child. We celebrate festivals like Diwali and Christmas with special songs, mixing global tunes with familiar Hindi and Marathi rhymes. We operate out of premium, air-conditioned studios in Bandra, Kemps Corner, Prabhadevi, and Worli, providing a safe space for toddlers aged 6 months to 5 years to express themselves. Whether you are coming for the developmental benefits or simply to find a supportive community of other parents, you will leave feeling a little lighter.
