About A Look Inside Our Delhi Studio
Our studio in Greater Kailash is intentionally kept intimate to maintain a focused, quiet energy, which means our classes can fill up quickly. If you are planning to drop in for a session, we recommend checking the weekly schedule on our bulletin board or sending us a quick message beforehand to confirm mat space. It is a small, shared environment, but that is exactly what makes the practice feel so grounded and personal.
When you walk into The Shala, the first thing you will notice is the silence—the kind that comes from everyone leaving the Delhi chaos outside the door. We designed this space in Greater Kailash to be an extension of our practice: clean, minimalist, and deeply focused. We are not a high-volume gym where you get lost in the crowd. Our studio is built for the traditional Ashtanga lineage, where Mysore-style practice requires a specific kind of attention and quiet.
Beyond the asana, this is a community hub. The bulletin board you see in our gallery is the heartbeat of the space—it holds our schedules, guest teacher announcements, and the reminders that keep us connected. Whether you are coming in for a morning Mysore session or a late-day flow, the goal is the same: to show up, breathe, and move.
We host a variety of sessions including Hatha, Vinyasa, and deep Sound Healing workshops. Because we prioritize personal attention, we limit our group sizes, ensuring that every student gets the guidance they need. If you are new to the area or new to yoga, just reach out. We do not have a gatekeeper at the door; we have a community waiting to welcome you.
