Meet Your Yoga Guru: A Journey with Jas Pal
Yoga is not just exercise, it is a way to feel your inner strength—your Shakti. In my studio, we don't just hold poses; we explore the discipline and joy of living well.
A smile is the simplest form of yoga. My teaching is guided by the principle of moving from darkness to light, from untruth to truth, and finding peace within.
Vrikshasana, the Tree Pose, teaches us balance, endurance, and calm. It is a foundational pose that helps improve neuromuscular coordination and strengthens the entire body from the ground up.
I am here to guide your child on their yoga journey. My aim is to create a space where they feel happy, confident, and connected to their inner self.
About Meet Your Guru, Jas Pal
When you walk into my studio in Prashant Vihar, you will not find competitive stretching. You will find a disciplined, safe space where we use props—like wall ropes and blocks—to ensure your body learns the asanas correctly, not just intensely. I focus on technique so you avoid injury and build a practice that feels right for your body, whether you are here for physical healing, meditation, or just finding some calm in the middle of a busy week.
Yoga is khel (play)—but it is serious play. My classes are rooted in the belief that yoga helps you find your inner Shakti, the energy that connects all of us. I do not just teach asanas; I teach a lifestyle. Whether we are working on breathwork, pranayama, or holding a challenging pose, my focus is on sthirata (stability) and sukham (ease).
I bring in my background as an artist and adventurer to make the sessions lively and grounded. We practice Hatha and Vinyasa, but always with a focus on alignment and safety. You will learn to use props correctly to deepen your practice. It is about understanding your body's story, not copying someone else's. From my experience with meditation and retreats in Rishikesh, I bring a depth that goes beyond the mat. We work on the tan (body) to clear the mann (mind). If you are looking for a teacher who will push you with kindness, correct your posture with a watchful eye, and remind you to smile through the hard parts, come meet me. Let us practice, thoda mehnat, solid result.
