Authentic Yoga Sadhana & Hatha Practice in RR Nagar
Yoga is a sadhana, a lifelong journey towards consciousness. It is not a quick fitness fix, but a disciplined path to truth. Ayta?
An unsteady mind is the biggest hindrance for most people today. I use the analogy of collecting scattered garbage into one place; once your thoughts are gathered, you can begin to deal with them. This is the first step yoga helps you take, moving from a scattered existence to a focused one.
My teachings are now available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. I created the 'Nanna Bharath' podcast to share practical insights on spirituality, mindfulness, and our karma bhumi, Bharath. You can listen to talks and guided meditations to support your sadhana anytime.
For those new to yoga, I have created a 21-day challenge. This pre-recorded course is a systematic introduction to asana, pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and Antar Mouna. It is a complete foundation to build your practice, synchronize your biological clock, and begin a mindful life.
I believe in planting the seeds of yoga and mindfulness at a young age. Here, my young students are learning to use sound and shlokas as a medium for meditation. With discipline and faith, even the most restless child can learn to sit in stillness for many minutes.
Ahimsa, or non-violence, is the first vow of Ashtanga yoga. It goes beyond not harming others; it means practicing non-violence towards yourself in thought, word, and action. True Ahimsa is a foundation that must be laid before any real spiritual progress can be made.
We gather not for show, but to invoke the divine and honor the Guru Parampara. This is a glimpse of our community during our 12th-anniversary celebration, a satsang of students who are an integral part of this journey towards truth and freedom.
My journey took me to the sacred land of Mahakumbamela in Prayagraj. Taking a dip in the holy waters is a profound experience of faith and purification. This is not just a ritual, but a deep connection to the spiritual energy of our land.
This is Yoganidrasana, a posture where the body is in a state of yogic sleep. Yogis in seclusion use this asana to stop heat from dissipating from the body. It is a demonstration of how advanced asana practice is deeply connected to the subtle energies of our system.
About Featured
Before you step onto the mat, understand that my classes at the RR Nagar studio are not for those seeking easy workouts for social media. We use Iyengar-style wall ropes, teak wood flooring for proper shock absorption, and strict alignment techniques to build a foundation. If you are here to stop looking for a quick fix and start a serious sadhana, you are in the right place.
Beyond the Mat: A Path of Discipline
Yoga is often portrayed as a series of flashy poses designed for cameras, but here, we strip that away. My studio in Rajarajeshwari Nagar is a space for Sadhana—a steady, intentional practice. Whether you are joining my 21-day mind and habit reset or our long-term mentorship, the goal remains the same: to burn through the layers of illusion and cultivate pure consciousness.
Why Practice with Me?
- Alignment-Based Hatha Yoga: We don't just 'stretch.' We use props, walls, and chairs to ensure your body is aligned correctly. This is essential for preventing injury and deepening your practice safely.
- Traditional Roots: My teachings draw from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and Hatha Yoga Pradipika. We don't just do asanas; we explore the philosophy that makes them meaningful.
- Beyond Physical Fitness: We focus on Mithahara (moderate eating), mindfulness, and understanding the biological clock. Yoga isn't something you leave behind when you walk out of the studio; it is a way of living.
The Space
When you enter our studio, you leave the noise outside. We maintain a temple-like atmosphere with daily fresh flowers and brass lamps. It is a strictly shoes-off and phones-off environment. This discipline is the first step toward conquering the laziness that holds most of us back. If you are ready to learn, be patient, and practice, come join us.
