What Makes My Approach Different
I don’t teach wrestling for points - I teach wrestling for the cage. If you’re looking to actually win fights in MMA, you need skills that work against real opponents, with gloves on, in a cage. I focus on cage wrestling techniques and MMA clinch tactics that let you control, dominate, and break down your opponent. It’s sweaty, it’s tough, and sometimes it’s straight-up messy. But it’s the stuff that wins fights.
Core Skills You’ll Build
- Shooting and finishing takedowns, setting them up with strikes
- Using the cage for control, defense, and nasty takedowns
- Scramble skills for MMA - coming out on top when things get chaotic
- Ground control strategies, so you stay on top and burn less energy
Who’s Teaching
You’ll learn directly from me - Coach Rahul Thapa. I compete at Matrix Fight Night, so I’m not just talking theory. I show what works because I use it myself. Sometimes we get guest sessions with top fighters, and advanced classes with Coach Shaun.

Doesn’t matter if you’re fresh or a pro. We train together, help each other, and push through. No ego. Just the grind. Like we say, aage chal (keep moving forward). Sometimes you’ll find us drilling with balloons - training’s tough, but it’s fun too.

Hey, we’re The Combat Lab. Started from scratch, no frills, just pure passion for martial arts. Doesn’t matter if you’re a total newbie, a kid, or a champ chasing a belt – there’s a spot for you. Our crew’s got champs, but it’s not all serious faces. Good vibes, big laughs, and tough rolls. We’re not just a gym, we’re a wild bunch, a family.
