These are the peaceful mornings at our studio. Here, students are in Savasana, the final resting pose, which is also the foundation for Yoga Nidra. This is a time for the body and mind to absorb the benefits of the practice and find complete stillness.
About Yoga Nidra & Deep Relaxation
Yoga Nidra is not just about lying down; it is a systematic rotation of consciousness that forces your nervous system to switch off the constant chatter. In our studio, we do not use guided audio tracks. We guide you live, watching the room to ensure you are actually resting and not just falling into a light sleep. It is simple, consistent work, but it gets the job done.
Many people come to us because they feel burnt out by the city. Yoga Nidra is not a nap. It is a guided journey into the subconscious, designed to help you detach from the 'Maya' or the constant noise of daily life.
We practice in the traditional way—lying in Savasana. We focus on breath awareness, body scanning, and conscious relaxation. The goal is to reach that thin line between being awake and being asleep. When you get there, the body repairs itself much faster than in regular sleep.
In our studio, we do not do 'luxury' relaxation. There are no dim lights or expensive aromatherapy diffusers. We focus on the practice itself. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, sleep issues, or just the physical tension of sitting at a desk in Bangalore all day, this technique works if you show up.
What to expect
- Live Guidance: No pre-recorded tracks. We watch the room and adjust the pace of the instruction to match the energy of the students present.
- Savasana focus: Learning to hold stillness is the hardest part for most beginners, but it is the foundation of the practice.
- Mental clarity: This helps with decision-making and focus, not just stress relief.
