Why We Do This
In the city, there’s always noise, always a distraction. Here, we try to leave that behind and get back to basics - breath, movement, and some good company. Our yoga retreats and treks are not about fancy hotels or Instagram moments. They’re about practicing yoga outdoors, with the sky and the earth, and finding a bit of peace in the process.
What Happens on a Retreat
- Sunrise yoga trek to places like Kunti Betta or Huthri Betta, where we hike before dawn and catch the sunrise.
- Yoga postures (Asana), pranayama (breathwork), and guided meditation in open, natural spaces.
- Camping out, pitching tents by the river or on the hillside, and sometimes just laying on a blanket.
- Yoga Nidra sessions for deep relaxation.
- Community vibes - we share stories, food, and time around the campfire. It’s a mix of solo quiet and shared laughter.
Who Comes Along
Everyone’s welcome - regular students, friends, family, and sometimes even kids on day retreats. You don’t need to be super fit or a yoga expert, just open-minded and willing to try.
Honest Note
If you’re after a yoga party or perfect pics, this isn’t it. We’re here for the experience - fresh air, a little adventure, and real connection. You just need to show up and be present. Theek hai? (Okay?)

My Story
Hey, we’re The Happy Yoga Community. Thirteen years and counting, teaching and learning together. I owe everything to my Gurus and parents, really. Yoga’s given us peace, happiness, even respect. Here, we’re all students, sharing the journey. We trek, laugh, and grow—it's not just a studio, it’s family. My dream? Yoga in every home, more smiles everywhere. Janani Janmabhoomishcha Swargadapi Gariyasi—Mother and Motherland above all. We’re here to serve, learn, and keep moving forward.

Certified Teacher Training - Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is for anyone wanting to dive deeper or teach.
Sound healing & workshops - We run sound healing workshops, special sessions, plus yoga retreats near me and treks for the community.
Consistency matters - No shortcuts—just show up, do the work, and trust the boring stuff for real change.
Classes for everyone - Beginner, advanced, flexible timings. Neewu bandre, tumba motivate aagtira (If you come, you’ll feel motivated).
Beyond just asanas - We mix asanas, pranayama, meditation, chanting. Not just poses—full mind and body practice.
