Yoga Nidra and Deep Relaxation Sessions
Find a space to let go. My guided Yoga Nidra sessions help you release deep-seated physical tension and calm the mind, bringing a sense of profound rest that stays with you long after you leave the mat.
An invitation to experience the power of relaxation with Nidra Yoga. I offer free experiential sessions for those looking to explore this state of conscious deep sleep.
A short sequence showing gentle poses that prepare the body for relaxation. We start by releasing tension in the back with Apanasana before moving into a restorative backbend like Setu Bandhasana.
A moment of rest during a yoga retreat in Nepal. After an active practice, taking time for Savasana or guided relaxation is essential for integrating the benefits and rejuvenating the body.

About Yoga Nidra & Deep Relaxation
In these sessions, you simply lie down and follow the sound of my voice. We don't stretch or push; instead, we systematically release tension from every part of the body. Many students find that this practice helps them break through patterns of chronic fatigue or sleep issues, acting as a much-needed reset for the nervous system, whether you are dealing with a demanding corporate schedule or simply need to switch off.
What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra is not just a nap; it is a guided practice of 'conscious deep sleep.' In our fast-paced lives, especially in a city like Bangalore, our nervous systems rarely get a chance to fully power down. We carry stress in our shoulders, our jaw, and our breath throughout the day.
During my sessions, I guide you through a systematic rotation of consciousness. You will learn to move your awareness through different parts of the body, allowing you to enter the space between wakefulness and sleep. This is where true healing happens.
Why Practice With Me?
My approach is rooted in the belief that rest is an essential part of your yoga practice, not an afterthought.
- Clear Guidance: I provide simple, step-by-step vocal cues so you do not have to worry about what comes next. You only need to listen.
- Safe Space: Whether we are at my Sahakarnagar studio or practicing online, I ensure the environment is set for you to feel secure enough to let go of control.
- Accessible to Everyone: You do not need to be flexible or have a history of yoga to practice Nidra. It is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Integrating Rest
I often recommend these sessions to students who are heavily involved in active 'Yang' practices—like intense Surya Namaskara or gym workouts—as a way to balance their energy. If you find yourself struggling to wind down at night or feeling 'tired but wired' during the day, these sessions offer the tools you need to find your center again. We don't chase poses here; we chase stillness.
