About Sunrise Treks & Outdoor Yoga
We start at 4 AM from Jayanagar because that is when the mind is at its clearest. These are not sightseeing trips; we hike, we sweat, and we practice pranayama at the summit while the sun rises. If you are expecting a luxury resort experience, this is not it. If you want to sweat, breathe, and find quiet in the hills, theek hai, come join us.
Why we head to the hills
The city is full of constant distraction. Our sunrise treks—to spots like Kunti Betta or Huthri Betta—are about stripping that away. We do not go for the Instagram shot. We go because practicing Hatha yoga at 2,000 feet, after a 2-hour ascent, changes your relationship with your body. You are not distracted by mirrors or loud studio music; it is just you, the stone beneath you, and the wind.
What to expect
These sessions are physically active. You will hike, you will set up your own tent if it is an overnight trip, and you will practice in the elements. We handle the logistics: round-trip transport from Jayanagar, forest permits, and simple, nourishing food. Whether it is a day trip or an overnight wilderness camp, the focus remains on discipline.
Honest logistics
- Timing: Early morning departures are non-negotiable. If you cannot make the 4 AM start, these sessions are not for you.
- Fitness: You do not need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable with a moderate incline walk.
- Comfort: We keep it raw. Think dome tents, floor mats, and community meals. If you are looking for five-star amenities, this will disappoint you. If you are looking to disconnect and find consistency in your practice, you will find exactly what you need.
