About Professional Pottery Program
I started The Janbo because clay has this magic - sometimes it finds you before you find it. My own journey from hobbyist to full-time potter was a bit messy, slow, but real. That’s the vibe here.
Why Join Us
If you’re mad about clay and want to do more than dabble, this is for you. I’m talking about folks who want to dive deep - not just play with mud, but learn how to build a career out of it. It’s tough, yeah, but if you’re ready to get your hands dirty, we’re good to go.
How We Roll
We run a three-month intensive wheel throwing course at our studio in Bengaluru. Monday to Saturday, you’ll get:
- Guided studio hours every morning - I’ll be right there, showing you the ropes and pushing your skills
- Lunch and chill time to bond, swap stories, maybe just do nothing for a bit
- Open studio afternoons for raw practice and experimenting
What You’ll Learn
This isn’t just about technique. You’ll get:
- Full process, from prepping clay to firing in the kiln
- Pottery skill-building workshop with lots of hands-on wheel work
- Help discovering your own style - not just copying mine
Your Options
We’ve got choices - just the course, course plus place to stay, or go all in with a creative travel retreat. Whatever suits your story.

My Story
Janbo’s story? Clay, soul, home. Feb 2020, I just dropped everything - job, modelling, socials, even WhatsApp. Me, my room, Pinto (my dog), and silence. No clue what next, just floating. One slow-living vlog with clay hands, and bam, something shifted. Clay walked in, travel sprinkled its magic, people and stories mixed in. That’s how Janbo happened. This studio is my heart, where it all finally made sense.
My Work
Pottery & Creative Workshops - We run pottery workshops for beginners and pros, plus ceramic painting, sculpture, and silver jewellery sessions.
Pop-up Workshops - Our studio’s in Bengaluru, but we often do pop-up pottery workshops in Chennai and other cities.
A Slow Living Vibe - It’s not just a class, it’s a mindful clay art escape. Come solo, bring friends, no experience needed.
Artist Community - We host artists from all over, sharing new crafts and stories. Everyone’s welcome to learn and chill.
