Student Pottery Gallery
A look at the pieces born in our studio, from first wobbly bowls to refined sculptures crafted by our community.
A glimpse into the diverse and creative energy of our studio. From kids making clay dinosaurs to adults deep in concentration at the wheel, this is a place for everyone to explore their artistic side.
Happiness is creating something with your own hands. This video captures the joy and focus of our students as they work on various projects, from wheel throwing to hand building and glazing their finished pieces.
There's a special magic to working in the studio at night, with music playing and friends creating alongside you. This is what our community is all about: sharing a passion in a relaxed, supportive space.
A beautiful, raw lidded jar made by one of our students. The beauty of this unglazed piece is in its simplicity and the texture of the natural clay, showing the marks of the maker's hands.
Not every piece comes out perfectly, and that's okay. These "mishaps" are part of the learning process. They teach us about the limits of the material and the beauty of imperfection.
Another lovely unglazed lidded jar. The subtle lines from the throwing process and the earthy texture give this piece a quiet, minimalist beauty. We encourage students to appreciate the form even before glazing.
A simple, elegant lidded jar in its raw, unfired state. The form is clean and the fit of the lid is precise, showcasing a student's growing skill on the wheel.
About this collection
When you see these pieces, you are seeing the result of persistence. Every bowl and jar here started as a lump of clay that needed to be centered, controlled, and coaxed into shape. It is rarely about getting it right on the first try, but about the focus you find when you stop worrying about perfection and start listening to the material.
Our studio on Sarjapur Road is built for people who want to understand the life cycle of clay. Whether you are here for a single weekend workshop or our three-month intensive vocational training, the learning process remains the same. You start by learning to prep your clay and master the basics of wheel throwing, which requires patience and a steady hand.
Beyond the wheel, we explore hand-building techniques like coiling and slab work. These methods allow you to create organic, functional objects without relying solely on machinery. We teach you how to handle the glaze chemistry and manage the kiln, turning fragile, unfired pieces into durable ceramics.
We emphasize the technical side because it gives you the freedom to create what you envision. You learn how to load a kiln to 1250 degrees Celsius, how to trim your pots for the right weight, and most importantly, how to recycle your clay. When a piece cracks or a lid does not fit, we do not call it a failure. We call it an essential lesson in physics and gravity.
By the time you finish your course, you will have a portfolio of work and the confidence to set up your own home practice. We are here to guide your hands, share the techniques that worked for us, and help you find your own voice in the studio.
