Single Session Clay Workshop
Session Details
- Duration: 2.5 to 3 hours of hands-on instruction.
- Scope: Covers techniques such as kneading, molding, throwing on the wheel, or sculpting.
- Themes: Varies from standard wheel trials to specialized guest-led sculpting topics.
Materials and Equipment
- Clay: Approximately 1kg to 1.5kg of stoneware clay provided.
- Tools: Access to community tables and basic studio tools.
Output and Firing
- Finishing: Studio handles drying, bisque firing, and glazing.
- Deliverable: Includes the complete processing of 1 master piece created during the session.
Level 1 Foundation Course
Course Structure
- Duration: 6 practical classes of approximately 2 hours each.
- Frequency: Classes typically held twice a week.
- Tools: Use of studio apron, sponges, wire cutters, ribs, and trimming tools.
Curriculum
- Hand-building: Instruction on pinching, coiling, and slab techniques.
- Wheel Throwing: Basics of centering clay and cylinder pulling.
Materials and Output
- Practice Clay: Unlimited recyclable clay provided for practice during class hours.
- Final Output: Trimming, glazing, and double-firing (bisque and glaze) of 3 to 4 successful pieces.
- Timeline: Finished pieces are usually ready 2 to 3 weeks after the course ends.
Monthly Kids Pottery Subscription
Schedule and Format
- Frequency: 4 weekly sessions per month.
- Duration: 90 minutes per session.
- Environment: Group setting for children aged 5 and above.

My Story
Hey, we’re Artfully Yours Pottery. Swathi started this studio with pure passion (and a bit of chaos, not gonna lie). Clay Conversations Practitioner Certificate? Yep, she nailed it, even while juggling tough care-giving days. Our family’s always sneaking in random stuff for the studio—old calling cards, you name it. The real magic? The kids, the students, the wild moments when someone surprises us. Their joy and those sweet thank-you notes, they’re what keep us rolling.
My Work
Personalised clay lessons & workshops - We teach clay to all ages, run sensory clay workshops, and host one or two-day classes.
Inclusive pottery classes - Kids, adults, seniors—everyone’s welcome. We offer supportive sessions for children on the spectrum and seniors with dementia.
