At Trayah Pottery, clay is our jam and 'Luru is home. We’re a laid-back crew, never too fussed about mess or perfection. Some days, the mud just does its own thing, and that’s cool with us. Our studio is where you show up as you are and make stuff with your hands - sometimes it works, sometimes it’s a bit of a comedy show.
Want to really get into pottery? Our main course is 16 sessions - you get a proper mix of wheel throwing (major chunk), hand-building, and glazing. No stress about missing a day, you’ve got three months to finish up. We’ve got groups for total newbies and for folks who already know a bit.
Sometimes we run 2-week intensive courses if you’re the sort who likes to binge-learn.
Our one-day beginner pottery workshops are a blast. Three hours, easygoing, you’ll try out a technique (like sgraffito or mishima), maybe give the wheel a spin, and go home with clay on your clothes. Sometimes we do collabs with cafes - you make pots, eat good food, life is sorted.
Kids get their own sessions - think animal figurines, trinkets, loads of paint everywhere. Parents can jump in too. If you’ve got a birthday or want a pottery date night in Bangalore, we do private gigs for groups.
You make it, we glaze and fire it, you pick it up in about two weeks - food-safe and ready to show off. Every year, our GLAZED show brings all the student pieces together for a big celebration.
