About Pottery & Ceramic Workshops
Why Pottery Feels Special Here
Pottery is more than just shaping clay - it's my way to slow down in this mad world. The studio in North Bangalore is quiet, meant for anyone who wants to just breathe, get their hands dirty, and maybe even find a bit of calm. Every session is less about making the perfect bowl, more about the joy and patience it brings.
Workshops That Fit Your Mood
- I keep classes small, so it stays personal. If you’re here to tick pottery off your bucket list or want to go deep, there’s space for both.
- For those wanting to really learn, my wheel throwing classes for beginners run across 12 sessions, covering everything from wedging to decorating. There’s guided time with me and solo practice too.
- If you just want to try clay for fun, my "Clayplay" session is a relaxed, one-on-one intro using hand-building techniques. Take your fired piece home.
- For those who like creating without the wheel, my hand-building pottery workshop covers pinch pots, slab, and coil work. You can make plates, bowls, or even small sculptures. Offered as one-off or multi-session.
- Groups or teams? I host events for friends, corporates, and families. These are great for team building or just a different kind of get-together.
- Kids camps happen too, with clay, paper mache, tie-and-dye, and more - always about exploring, not just “making”.
Real Talk
Working with clay takes patience and heart. Not every piece is perfect, but every creation tells its own story. That’s what makes this place feel real, not just a class.

My Story
We’re Oriri Studio, and honestly, nothing beats that buzz when someone spots our work. Like, one time, LBB Bangalore shouted us out on Insta - I nearly spilled my coffee! But the real joy? Seeing a kid’s grin at a pop-up, clutching a ceramic candy cane. That’s why we do this. Inspiration hits from everywhere - once, a photo of a Lambadi girl just stuck with me, and bam, she ended up in clay. Every piece, it’s got a bit of our story.
