About Pottery Courses
I built my studio around the chaos and joy of working with clay and the feeling of belonging that comes from creating together. Here, everyone’s welcome - whether you’ve never touched clay or you’re hunting for a place to take your skills up a notch. It’s not just pots and cups, it’s a space where you find your people and leave with more than what you came for.
What I Offer
- Potter’s wheel throwing classes, from absolute basics (like centering and cylinders) up to advanced shapes, split across 6 levels
- Handbuilding pottery workshops for those who want to sculpt, pinch, coil, or work with slabs - all with just your hands and a few tools
- A deep-dive course for anyone looking to make their own pottery collection, ending with a student pop-up to show and sell your work
What to Expect
- Small groups (max 5) for lots of one-on-one time and plenty of my jugaad tips (quick hacks that make things easier)
- Everything’s included - clay, glazes, tools, aprons, and firing, plus open studio hours for extra practice
- You’ll go home with 8-10 finished pieces that actually work, not just “showpieces”
- Both weekend and weekday options, all year
More Than Pots
Honestly, the best bit is the studio vibe - laughs, messy hands, and a growing “studio fam.” If you love a chill, community-first space, you’ll fit right in.

My Story
Three years back, Goak Ceramics was just me, a tiny room, and a few wheels. Clay was the start, but it’s really about the folks who come in, get messy, and leave with muddy hands and grins. We’ve built a little tribe here, sharing stories and learning together. My work, like the Déesse mugs, comes from my heart, and somehow, it finds people who get it. This space is shaped by everyone who’s been part of it.
