Student Journeys and Yoga Transformations in Bangalore
My practice isn't magic, but people do change when they show up. Here’s what real students, from busy professionals to those handling health hurdles, have experienced on their mats.
Priyamvada, who we lovingly call 'advocate akka', shares her full four month journey. She talks about her initial struggles with Angamardana, her frustration with slow practices, and how consistent sadhana with Suryakriya and Yogasanas brought noticeable changes in her health and balance.
Vinay anna shares his experience from the weekend sadhana sessions. He explains how, despite being a regular practitioner for two years, the sessions helped him become aware of and improve in areas he was previously ignorant about. He describes it as an upgrade for his practice.
Saraswathi akka shares her thoughts after attending my Yogasanas, Surya Kriya, and Bhuta Shuddhi review classes. She speaks about how the calm and thorough instructions gave her the confidence to deepen her own practice and her kind words inspire me to do more.
Susovan anna, a dedicated Hatha Yoga practitioner, talks about how the guided sadhana sessions help him improve his flexibility and go deeper. At 50, he feels much younger, highlighting how these sessions benefit even experienced yogis.
This video compilation features participants from my online Arogyam program. They share their experiences with overcoming physical limitations, gaining confidence in their practice, and integrating yogic diet principles into their lives, all from their own homes.
About Student Journeys & Transformations
It is rarely a linear path. Most students here start with frustration, inconsistent routines, or physical stiffness, but the shift happens when they stop treating yoga as another task and start letting it settle into their day. You will hear real stories here, from fumbling with postures to finding a mental balance that actually lasts.
You might notice that the people sharing their stories here sound just like you. They were not all flexible yogis on day one. Some, like Priyamvada, struggled to even hold a posture for a minute or fainted during Angamardana before finding her rhythm. Others, like Susovan, came in at 50 years old and found that consistent practice made them feel younger rather than just 'doing exercises.'
When we talk about transformation, it is not about achieving some Instagram-perfect pose. It is about small, tangible shifts. It is the ability to breathe through a stressful workday, the gradual decrease in back stiffness after sitting for hours in a cubicle, or simply the mental clarity that comes from showing up at 6 AM when you would rather hit snooze.
My approach is to help you bridge that gap between 'I should do yoga' and 'I am actually doing yoga.' Whether you are struggling with a sedentary IT job, managing hormonal health, or just trying to build a routine that survives the chaos of a Bengaluru week, these stories show that the process works if you are willing to keep at it. I am not here to give you a quick fix. I am here to guide you through the process, offer the corrections you need, and ensure you do not get injured while trying to find your balance.
