Practical Yoga Classes That Actually Fit Your Life
I'm Ramya. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all wellness. Whether you are an IT professional looking to manage stress or simply need a safe space to start, here is a look at the practices I teach and the shifts my students have experienced.
This is Priyamvada's story, and it’s one I hold close to my heart. She shares her entire journey with Hatha Yoga, from fainting in her first class and struggling with slow practices to finding strength and balance over four months of consistent sadhana. Her experience is a powerful reminder that yoga works if you do.
This is me practicing with the Velliangiri mountains in the background. I didn't get into yoga for health or to become a teacher. I was just curious, and it stuck. This practice is not about looking perfect, it's about showing up, even when it's a challenge.
This was me back in my Wipro days. My journey has been a shift from Information Technology to Inner Technology. I used to be the person who would skip corporate wellness sessions for a tea break, so I understand the hesitation. But things change, and this ID card is a reminder of how beautifully they can.
I'm so excited to announce my first full month, in-person yoga program just for women here in Bengaluru. This is for those who have had no introduction to these practices, creating a safe space to explore yoga. I truly hope it works for them just as it did for me.
Here are some highlights from a recent Arogyam online program. Listen to participants share how the step by step approach helped them with physical issues like shoulder pain and gave them the confidence to build a daily practice. It shows that real change is possible, even through online yoga sessions.
It's wonderful to have committed practitioners like Susovan anna join the sadhana sessions. Even after practicing Hatha Yoga for years, he finds that the guided corrections help him go deeper into his practice and feel younger. His experience shows the value of practicing in a dedicated space.
This is what my practice looks like most of the time. No fancy clothes or perfect background, just finding a space to sit and be. Sometimes the only thing you can manage is to simply sit, and that is enough. I know I can't always work with my mind, but I can work with my body.
About Featured
The biggest myth I hear is that you need to be flexible to start. You don’t. My sessions aren't about holding perfect poses for photos; they are about breaking down complex Hatha Yoga practices step-by-step so you can actually do them at home. Whether it's online or in-studio, my focus is on making sure you understand the 'why' and 'how' of each movement, not just mimicking me.
I didn't come to Yoga to find 'peace' or get a six-pack. I was working in IT, skipping wellness sessions for tea breaks, and honestly, I thought the whole spiritual side was just mumbo jumbo. But when I actually started practicing, I realized that Yoga is less about philosophy and more about managing your own system. It’s truly just 'Inner Technology'.
Whether you join my Arogyam online workshops or come to the in-person studios in JP Nagar and Kanakapura, the structure remains consistent. I teach foundational Isha Hatha Yoga—Suryakriya, Angamardana, and Upa Yoga. We don't rush. If you've struggled with stiffness, shoulder pain, or just finding the consistency to keep up a daily routine, we look at why that is. We talk about food, sleep hygiene, and how to fit these practices into a packed schedule.
Why in-person? Sometimes, especially for practices like Yogasanas, you need someone to look at your posture. In our South Bengaluru studio sessions, I provide those physical corrections. It’s a small, safe space—no AC, just natural ventilation—where we can focus on getting the alignment right so you don't hurt yourself. If you’re just starting, don't worry about 'doing it right' on day one. Just show up.
