Yoga for Strength, Flexibility & Mental Peace
Yoga is not about being perfect or touching your toes. I teach a Hatha-Vinyasa blend designed to help you release stress, fix your posture, and find a little calm in your day, whether you are a beginner or just looking for a mindful routine.
This is the heart of my specialized workshops. I focus on releasing the hips and hamstrings, areas where we hold so much physical and emotional tension. This 90-minute online session is designed for deep release, helping you gain flexibility, find relief, and improve your flow.
Curious about the benefits of releasing tight hips and hamstrings? This short video demonstrates several poses we explore in my workshops and highlights the direct results: better posture, less lower back pain, improved flexibility, and even emotional release. It’s more than just stretching; it’s about creating space in your body and mind.
Had a long day at work? I created this simple sequence of four asanas specifically to help you unwind and relieve stress after sitting at a desk. We move through Setubandhasana (Bridge Pose), Anjaneyasana (Low Lunge), Marjariasana (Cat-Cow), and Supta Baddha Konasana (Supine Bound Angle) to gently release tension from your back, hips, and mind.
Here’s a little peek into what it’s like to attend my online yoga classes. You get to practice from the comfort of your own space, receive individual attention and corrections, and get recordings for self-practice. It's a convenient way to build a consistent routine that fits into your busy day.
If you find yourself slouching at your desk, this is for you. Yoga is one of the most effective ways to correct posture by strengthening your core and back muscles. This image shows a Parivrtta Trikonasana (Revolved Triangle Pose) variation, which helps lengthen the spine and open the chest.
Welcome to Mudra Studio. My name is Gowri, and I started my yoga journey to support my own mental health. In this video, I share a bit about my teaching style, a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa, and my mission to help you build strength, stamina, and peace of mind.
Yoga offers so many benefits beyond the mat. In my classes, we focus on building strength and flexibility, reducing stress, and improving sleep and overall health. This image from one of my studio sessions captures the calm, focused energy we cultivate together.
About this collection
If you are worried about feeling lost in a big class, my sessions in Malleshwaram are different. I keep my batches small, usually 8 to 12 people, so I can actually see your alignment and offer hands-on corrections during practice. Whether we are working on tight hips from desk work or just trying to slow down, you will get the personal attention needed to practice safely.
My Approach: Hatha-Vinyasa for Every Body
I believe yoga should meet you where you are, not where you think you should be. My teaching style is a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa. We use Hatha to hold poses and build steady strength, and Vinyasa to flow through movement, syncing breath with action. This combination helps you build stamina while keeping your mind focused on the present moment.
Why Yoga at Mudra Studio?
- Small Batch Vibes: In a world of crowded studios, I prioritize community over competition. By limiting class sizes in my Malleshwaram rooftop studio, I ensure everyone gets the feedback they need to avoid injury and actually improve.
- Correction-Focused: I don't just demonstrate and move on. I provide hands-on tactile adjustments to help you get the most out of every asana, whether you are doing Parivrtta Trikonasana (Revolved Triangle Pose) or just finding your balance in Tadasana.
- Built for Real Life: We all have lives outside the mat. My sequences are designed for people who spend hours at a desk, dealing with neck stiffness, tight hamstrings, and mental fatigue. We work on real-world issues like posture correction and stress relief, helping you transition from 'stress mode' to 'relax mode' by the time you leave.

Whether you are joining my rooftop sessions in Malleshwaram or tuning in for an online class, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space for you to learn. I share my own journey—starting as someone who couldn't touch her toes—because I want you to know that progress happens one day at a time. If you have been looking for a consistent, beginner-friendly practice that feels like a sanctuary, you are in the right place.
