Classical Hatha Yoga Practices in Bengaluru
No fancy studio, no mirrors, no loud music. Just simple, powerful practices from the Isha tradition to bring stability and focus to your life.
This is how we start our day, with Surya Kriya against the spectacular Bangalore sunrise. You don't need a fancy studio, just a willingness to show up on the mat. This simple practice aligns your system with the sun's cycles and creates a powerful foundation for the day ahead.
It is so rewarding to hear Pradeep share his journey. He came to my classes as a complete beginner struggling with flexibility from his IT job, and in just one month, he found a new sense of ease and focus. His story shows that yoga is accessible to everyone, regardless of your starting point.
A glimpse into one of our group sadhana sessions. Here, we are moving through the postures of Surya Kriya together. The energy of a group practicing with single minded focus creates a powerful and supportive atmosphere for everyone to deepen their experience.
Many people think yoga is about doing more, but I believe it is about the quality of your attention. Even 15 minutes of practice done with complete involvement can be more transformative than hours of distracted movement. It is the precision and awareness in each asana that creates a beautiful inner experience.
The food we eat is an important part of the yogic path. This is a simple, sattvic meal I enjoyed at the Isha ashram. Eating fresh, light, and natural food supports your sadhana, bringing balance and vitality to your system.
It was a joy to guide over 100 students and faculty at Global Academy of Technology for International Day of Yoga. Their curiosity was not just about postures but about how yoga can bring focus and stillness. Seeing so many people sitting in meditation was a truly beautiful experience.
This is what my personal practice often looks like. No perfect background or special clothes, just finding a quiet corner to connect with myself. Yoga follows you wherever you go, and the most important thing is simply to sit and do what you can.
It is inspiring to see how consistent practice benefits people of all ages. Shushovan, who is 50, shares how our sadhana sessions have helped him go deeper into his practice and feel younger and more flexible. His experience is a wonderful reminder that age is just a number on this path.
About Featured
Our studio in Konanakunte is not a typical gym. It is a consecrated, quiet space designed specifically for sadhana. We prioritize the precision of your alignment and the quality of your attention over the number of hours you spend on the mat.
Yoga is not about physical fitness or showing off flexibility. It is an inner technology. Whether you are learning Surya Kriya to align your system with the sun, or Angamardana to build strength, the focus remains on the quality of your attention. Many students come to me thinking they need to touch their toes to start. You don't. You need will.
In our classes, we go step-by-step. I give hands-on adjustments because spinal alignment matters. We do this in a quiet, distraction-free environment in Doddakallasandra. The practice is not about ticking off poses; it is about sweetness inside, focus, and stillness.
We offer various paths to suit your life:
- Intensive Foundation Workshops: If you need to learn a practice like Surya Kriya from scratch, we cover the mechanics, theory, and physiology over 8 to 12 hours. Attendance is 100 percent mandatory because mastering the sequence is key.
- Guided Sadhana Sessions: For those who have already learned the practices, these Monday to Friday sessions provide the community and discipline to maintain your daily routine. We refine your geometry and ensure you stay consistent.
- Online Programs: If you are outside Bengaluru, our 14-day online programs help you establish a rhythm with simple, potent Upa Yoga practices.
If you feel lost or miss a few days, reach out. We are here to help you restart. This is about making yoga a sustainable part of your daily life, not a chore.
