Himalayan Yoga & Trekking Retreats
This is not a holiday. It is a space to unplug from the mind and reconnect with your inner nature through classical Hatha Yoga and the stillness of the Himalayas.
This is more than a retreat; it is an opportunity to embark on a transformative journey. Here in the Himalayas, you will experience the profound impact of Sadhguru's teachings, dive into the depths of meditation, and discover the power of a supportive community on your spiritual path.
It is one thing for me to speak about the practice, but it is another to hear from those who have experienced it. Listen to the heartfelt sharings from our Dharamshala retreat participants, who found emotional stability, mental calm, and a deeper meaning of yoga through the practice of Surya Kriya.
Our journey takes us to places of immense energy. We visit ancient temples like Jageshwar, a revered Jyotirlinga, and feel the power of the Himalayas at Kasar Devi, a Shakti Peeth. These sacred sites are an integral part of the spiritual experience I offer.
As Sadhguru says, the goal is to create a space between you and your mind, which is the end of suffering. In our sessions, we work towards this through authentic Classical Hatha Yoga practices, allowing you to experience a fundamental sense of aliveness and stillness within.
Namaskaram. My own journey from being a participant to becoming an Isha Hatha Yoga teacher was transformative. After more than 1750 hours of intensive training, it is a blessing to be able to offer these powerful yogic tools to you in their classical form and purity.
I invite you to make a pledge to yourself to learn Classical Hatha Yoga in its purest form. In our retreats, you will learn powerful practices like Surya Shakti, which strengthens the body and improves immunity, all while trekking through the serene beauty of the Himalayas.
Sometimes, an experience is beyond words. This participant gifted herself this retreat for her birthday and found it to be her greatest decision, a way to reconnect with her practice and her emotions. Her journey is a testament to the subtle yet profound shifts that can happen here.
About Featured
We keep these retreats intentionally small and free of typical distractions—no music, no props, just pure practice. Whether we are at a base camp in the Dhauladhar range or visiting an ancient temple like Jageshwar, the schedule is designed to help you build a lasting foundation for your personal sadhana rather than just providing a temporary escape.
Beyond the Usual Yoga Break
Many people search for a yoga retreat to 'relax' or 'get flexible.' While you will certainly feel more capable physically, our Himalayan immersions are different. We teach Classical Hatha Yoga exactly as it was designed—without modification, music, or props.
The Himalayan Experience
We bring the practice into the wild to strip away the noise of city life. Your day might involve:
- Morning Sadhana: Deep practice sessions in the crisp mountain air, focusing on Surya Kriya or Surya Shakti.
- Mindful Movement: Guided treks through the Dhauladhar mountains or Deoriatal, where the focus remains on maintaining the yogic state of body and mind.
- Sacred Visits: We take you to energy spaces like Kasar Devi and Jageshwar Dham. These are not just sightseeing stops; they are visits to ancient temples designed to facilitate a certain inner atmosphere.
Why Choose This Path?
If you have been doing yoga in a gym and feel like something is missing, this is the environment to find it. We are not just fitness trainers; we are Isha Hatha Yoga teachers with 1750+ hours of training. We hold the space for you to do the work. You don’t need to be an expert. You just need the willingness to experience the process for yourself.
Everything is included: accommodation in curated nature-centric homestays, all sattvic meals, and the complete instruction of the practice. If you are looking for a shift rather than just a trip, this is where you start.
