Meet Your Classical Hatha Yoga Teachers
From participants to dedicated guides, learn about our journey and the lineage of Isha Hatha Yoga we offer in Gurgaon.
Namaskaram. My journey from being a participant to becoming an Isha-certified Hatha Yoga teacher has been a blessing. I underwent over 1750 hours of intensive training to be able to offer these powerful yogic tools in their classical form and purity.
A simple sadhana tip. When you are in an asana, just be in the asana. Avoid the temptation to adjust your clothes or scratch an itch. The goal is to turn your focus inward, and this requires your complete involvement.
About Meet Your Teacher
My transition from a student to an Isha-certified teacher took 1750 hours of intensive immersion at the Isha Yoga Center. This was not a quick course, but a deep dive into the geometry of the body and the science of Hatha Yoga. I do not teach because I know poses; I teach to ensure these tools are passed on in their original, uncorrupted form, just as I received them.
When people ask me why we don't use music, props, or fancy studios with mirrors, the answer is simple: these are distractions.
Classical Hatha Yoga is a science of inner transformation, not a physical exercise regimen. In my 1750 hours of training, the most critical lesson wasn't how to do an asana, but how to be a transparent conduit for the practice. When you come to our studio in Suncity, you won't find a place to 'work out.' You will find a consecrated space designed for stillness, where you can turn your focus inward.
The Path of a Teacher
My own journey started just like yours. I was looking for tools to manage stress and find stability. What I found was a system so precise that it didn't just change my body—it changed how I experience life. That is why we are so strict about the 'no-shortcut' policy. We teach exactly as Sadhguru designed. Whether it is Angamardana, Surya Kriya, or Upa Yoga, every step is taught with specific attention to breath and alignment.
Why This Matters for Your Practice
Because we limit our weekend workshops to 5-10 participants, I can ensure that your geometry is correct. This is the difference between doing a movement and performing a Kriya. We are here to support your sadhana, whether you are just beginning or looking to deepen your existing practice.
If you have been searching for a way to bring lasting stability and clarity into your day, I invite you to join us. You do not have to believe what I say; you simply have to try the practice and see the shift for yourself.
