About Our Community: Teacher Training & Seva
The practices I share are rooted in a 21-week, 1750-hour intensive teacher training at the Isha Gurukulam. This commitment ensures that every posture and Kriya is taught with the precise geometry and alignment needed for true inner stability, rather than just physical exercise or flexibility.
Being a yoga teacher is my 'Seva', or service. It is about holding space for others to access these ancient tools exactly as they were designed. This is why I structure my classes as multi-day workshops rather than drop-in sessions. You need time to absorb the practice so it can become a permanent, independent part of your life.
When you join a workshop for Surya Kriya, Angamardana, or Yogasanas, you are receiving the practice in its purest form. We create a dedicated, focused environment, ensuring the atmosphere is conducive to deep work. My training taught me that the environment and the attention to detail are just as important as the postures themselves. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your technique, my role is to ensure you leave with a practice you can confidently do on your own every single day, bringing balance to your body and mind.

I’m Dakshith. My own journey into yoga started as a search for something more, and it eventually led me to the Isha Gurukulam for intensive training. I am here simply to pass on the tools that became the anchor of my own life.
