Our Lakeshore house in Hyderabad, resting by the water as dusk settles. This home is a filter for breezes and views, built from the very earth of the site and a precise metal skeleton. It is a duet between the architecture and the landscape.
The Vihara has risen. This institute for religious learning in Mumbai is a reinterpretation of our own history, a metaphor for finding one's own path from ignorance to knowledge. The facade itself is a journey.

When the site gives you a breathtaking view, the answer is simple. Make a verandah. This is our House with the Gabion, a space designed to do nothing but embrace the landscape and the breeze.
The House in a Grove, nestled in Alibaug. The architecture becomes a bystander, a partner to the grove, pushing life outdoors. Here, the undergrowth and tree canopies become the true living space.
A moment of peace from the experience center for our Ikebana apartment building. The design is elemental, a study in black water and white surfaces. We believe this sense of calm is essential to the ethos of a home.

Whether you are retrofitting a Mumbai apartment or planning a new villa, we design structures that use cross-ventilation and passive cooling, reducing your reliance on air conditioning.

This approach has led us to build vertical oases in dense Mumbai, like the Sarvasva project, where terracotta screens protect the home while letting it breathe.
Our work in places like the Lakeshore House in Hyderabad proves that precision and nature can coexist. By using rammed earth walls and metal skeletons, we minimize environmental disruption. We prioritize passive cooling systems, such as courtyards and deep verandahs, which keep interiors comfortable even in India’s sweltering climate.
We avoid trends, preferring instead to work with noble, natural materials like basalt, granite, and salvaged teak. These materials age with dignity, gaining character over time. Whether we are retrofitting an apartment in the city or masterplanning a villa by the coast, our goal remains the same: to build spaces that are simple, direct, and easy to live in. We see our role as students of our craft, constantly learning from the chaos of our cities and the stillness of the landscape.
