Bespoke Urban Residence Architecture
Concept & Modeling
- Deep-Dive Briefing: Creation of a 'Soul' document capturing lifestyle nuances beyond standard room lists.
- Physical Maquettes: Development of intricate wood, brass, or card models to visualize volume and light before digitalization.
- Climate Engineering: Analysis of sun-paths and wind directions to design passive cooling and thermal release systems.
Technical Detailing
- Custom Facade Design: Engineering of rain screens, Corten steel mesh, or living walls for privacy and micro-climate control.
- Material Curation: Visits to quarries and specific vendors to handpick raw stones and noble materials.
- System Integration: Concealment of MEP lines to maintain clean, beam-free visual lines.
Execution Support
- Site Supervision: Periodic checks by senior architects to ensure construction matches the physical models.
- Prototype Approval: Validation of on-site mockups for brickwork and cladding before full application.
- Landscape Integration: Design of vertical gardens and terrace planters integrated into the structural shell.
Luxury Villa & Farmhouse Architecture
Siting & Masterplanning
- Ecological Layout: Preservation of existing trees and topography to fit the building around nature.
- Commune Planning: Positioning main houses, guest blocks, and staff quarters to create courtyard arrangements.
- Water Body Design: Architectural detailing for ozonated pools, reflecting ponds, and rainwater reservoirs.
Envelope & Structure
- Passive Cooling Layouts: 'One-room thick' floor plans designed for cross-ventilation and heat stack escapes.
- Custom Roof Design: Fabrication of large-span timber, metal, or concrete roofs with deep overhangs for monsoon protection.
- Tactile Materials: Selection of local aging materials like Basalt and Laterite that develop a patina over time.
Execution & Detail
- Fenestration Design: Detailing for floor-to-ceiling minimal glazing to blur indoor and outdoor boundaries.
- Bathroom Courtyards: Design of open-to-sky walled courtyards specifically for bath spaces.
- Sustainability: Integration of solar panels and water recycling systems into the architectural design.
Institutional & Cultural Campus Design
Conceptual Framework
- Heritage Integration: Researching local history and structures to incorporate traditional metaphors into modern design.
- Modular Strategy: Creation of repeatable structural units (arches or steel grids) to optimize construction speed.
- Frugal Material Innovation: Application of low-cost, high-impact local materials like terracotta cones and fly ash.
Planning & Efficiency
- Campus Masterplanning: Circulation planning for high footfall, segregating public and private zones.
- Passive Operations: Design focus on natural lighting and ventilation to reduce long-term electricity costs.
- Fast-Track Detailing: Use of prefabricated steel or dry-construction methods for tight timeline execution.
Project Support
- Design Supervision: Periodic checks to ensure modular assembly proceeds correctly.
- Community Utility: Designing spaces that serve dual purposes for the local community and the institution.
About Architectural Design
Our Approach
Architecture, for us, isn't about chasing trends. It's about making you feel at home with the place, the story, and the light. I care more about the soul of a space than a signature style - every project is about finding the right atmosphere, not putting on a show. I listen, a lot, before I start to design.
How We Work
Everything starts with a pencil and paper, not a computer. Real sketching, rough and honest. From there, I make handcrafted architectural models, using wood or brass, to see how the building will sit on land. Light, shadow, scale - I need to feel these with my hands, not just see them on a screen.
What We Build
- Homes: city pads, family retreats, villas, even co-living spaces in the wild
- Schools, cultural centers, learning hubs with meaning, not just function
- Hospitality: eco-resorts, big masterplans, event pavilions—all rooted in place
Design Language
I blend inside and outside with aangan (courtyards), big verandahs, and jaali (screens) facades for breathing buildings. My material palette is un-fancy but honest: stone, rammed earth, brick, salvaged wood, Corten, and bare concrete.
Why Work With Us
If you’re bold, trust the process, and want climate responsive architecture that holds meaning, I think we’ll get along.

My Story
Walking into our studio, it’s like a band tuning up for the day, not just work. We’ve been doing this for years, still learning, still loving analog – real models, hands-on, no hiding behind screens. Every project handover gives us that bittersweet ache, but new stories keep us moving. Bombay’s chaos is our muse, and honestly, art and poetry – that’s the soul. Building a new India, one bit at a time.
My Work
Designing sustainable spaces - We create architecture, masterplans, hospitality, housing, and institutional projects with a focus on sustainability.
Custom-made objects and furniture - We craft furniture, lamps, and objects – where architecture meets touch and pattern.
Soulful, atmospheric design - We don’t chase style. We build spaces that feel quiet, relevant, and full of soul.
Material honesty - We use basalt, granite, rammed earth, salvaged teak – true materials, no shortcuts, for timeless quality.
Simple, responsive approach - We listen to the site. High roofs, courtyards, verandahs, keeping things simple and direct, especially for coastal climates.
