About Sustainable & Climatic Design
We don’t believe in forcing buildings onto a site – it’s more like having a quiet chat with the land. Our approach is about listening to the sun, wind, and even the soil. Each project, whether squeezed into a city lane or sprawling by the coast, ends up with its own vibe because of this. We aren’t chasing cool looks or trends, just honest, lived-in spaces.
How We Work
- We design for Indian heat, aiming for comfort without running ACs all day. High ceilings and lofty roofs let hot air drift out on its own.
- Most of our buildings are one room thick, usually wrapped around courtyards. This isn’t just for show – it’s all about passive cooling architecture and letting that breeze do its thing.
- You’ll find lots of porous walls, like brick jaalis or terracotta cones, which keep things airy and shaded.
- Deep verandahs, pergolas, and sliding screens help cut the sun without shutting the world out.
Materials & Connection
- We use locally sourced building materials – rammed earth, Indian stones, salvaged teak. These materials age well, and honestly, plaster just gets in the way.
- Courtyards are our green lungs. They cool things down, bring in light, and feel a bit like a hidden garden in the middle of everything.
- Green roofs and planted terraces help us blend buildings into the landscape, while also keeping interiors cooler.
Everything we do is about making places that feel human and simple – nothing flashy, just spaces that work with nature instead of against it.

My Story
Walking into our studio, it’s like a band tuning up for the day, not just work. We’ve been doing this for years, still learning, still loving analog – real models, hands-on, no hiding behind screens. Every project handover gives us that bittersweet ache, but new stories keep us moving. Bombay’s chaos is our muse, and honestly, art and poetry – that’s the soul. Building a new India, one bit at a time.
My Work
Designing sustainable spaces - We create architecture, masterplans, hospitality, housing, and institutional projects with a focus on sustainability.
Custom-made objects and furniture - We craft furniture, lamps, and objects – where architecture meets touch and pattern.
Soulful, atmospheric design - We don’t chase style. We build spaces that feel quiet, relevant, and full of soul.
Material honesty - We use basalt, granite, rammed earth, salvaged teak – true materials, no shortcuts, for timeless quality.
Simple, responsive approach - We listen to the site. High roofs, courtyards, verandahs, keeping things simple and direct, especially for coastal climates.
