Group Yoga Classes and Community Sessions in New Ashok Nagar
Yoga is about connection and collective energy. Join our group sessions in New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Vihar, where we build strength, discipline, and focus together.
Our community celebrating their achievements on International Yoga Day. It is a joy to see students of all ages and backgrounds come together, holding their certificates of participation after a fulfilling rooftop session.
A moment of shared peace during an outdoor yoga session on our terrace. Practicing together in a group setting creates a powerful, collective energy that deepens everyone's individual meditation and practice.

"Quiet the mind and the soul will speak." Here, my students are in Supta Virasana (Reclined Hero Pose) and other restorative poses during an outdoor session, finding deep relaxation and inner peace.
It is a proud moment for me to present a certificate to one of my youngest students. Recognizing the hard work and dedication of every student, no matter their age, is an important part of our journey together.
About Our Yoga Community in Action
When you practice in a group, the collective energy pushes you to hold the pose a little longer than you would alone. In my community batches in New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Vihar, I focus on personal alignment even within the crowd. I use props like straps and blocks to ensure that you are focusing on the correct form and safety, rather than just trying to keep up with the person next to you. It is not about looking perfect; it is about working on your own alignment under my supervision.
Why Community Yoga Matters
Yoga is often seen as a solitary practice, but there is a unique strength in shared discipline. When you walk into a session at our New Ashok Nagar or Mayur Vihar studios, you are entering a space where everyone is there for one reason: parivartan (change).
We don't do group sessions just to fill the room. My approach to group classes is structured:
- Individual Attention: Even in a group, I correct your posture. If I see a wrong alignment, I will fix it. You aren't just following a video; you are being guided.
- Prop-Assisted Safety: We use chairs, blocks, and straps. Whether you are a senior working on joint stiffness or a younger student pushing for advanced asanas, props ensure that you progress without injury.
- Discipline Over Motivation: Motivation gets you to the mat once; discipline keeps you coming back six days a week. We practice consistency, not intensity for the sake of it.
Where We Practice
We bridge the gap between indoor studios and the environment. Depending on the weather and the batch, we take our practice outdoors to local parks or rooftops. Practicing under the open sky helps you feel rooted and grounded, adding a different dimension to your pranayama and meditation.
These sessions are inclusive—I teach kids, seniors, and working professionals in the same environment, modifying the poses to suit each body. If you are looking for a place where you will be challenged but kept safe, join us. But remember, the change starts with your commitment to show up.
Sunil Yogi
I am Yogi Sunil, and I started Soul to Shiva Yoga Foundation to move beyond fancy poses. Real yoga requires hard work and discipline, and in these group sessions, we keep each other accountable. Come ready to sweat and change, because real progress only happens when you show up for yourself.
