Yoga for kids is not just about poses; it is about building discipline, focus, and strength. I use props and guided practice to help children develop proper alignment and inner calm from an early age.

This young student demonstrates incredible focus and balance in Mayurasana (Peacock Pose). My kids' yoga classes are designed to build not just physical strength but also mental discipline and self-confidence from a young age.

This video shows two of my young students moving through a flow that includes Hanumanasana (the splits) and Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose). I teach both basic and advanced techniques, helping children progress at their own pace in a supportive environment.

A young student holds a strong Dhanurasana (Bow Pose), a powerful backbend that opens the chest and strengthens the entire back. This pose is a testament to her dedication and the inner power that yoga helps to unlock.

Here you can see several young students practicing Yoganidrasana (Yogic Sleep Pose). This advanced posture requires extreme flexibility and is a result of consistent, dedicated practice. It shows the amazing potential children have.

I use props like straps and wall ropes to help my young students safely achieve deep stretches and advanced poses. In this video, I am assisting a child with a backbend and a wall-supported split, ensuring proper alignment.

With my direct assistance and the use of wall ropes, this student is able to deepen her backbend safely. This kind of hands-on guidance is crucial for kids to learn advanced yoga postures without risk of injury.

This sequence shows me assisting a young boy in a deep backbend (Chakrasana) and other students using chairs for supported stretches. My approach combines personal attention with the use of props to cater to each student's needs.

Using a yoga wheel, this young practitioner explores advanced backbend techniques. Props like these make the practice fun for kids and allow them to safely explore poses that might otherwise seem impossible.

Finding stillness and strength in a deep backbend. For kids, yoga is more than just poses; it's an inner journey to connect with their own power and essence.

This young student is deepening her Urdhva Dhanurasana (Upward Bow Pose). This asana is a great way to open the heart and strengthen the spine, building a strong foundation for a lifelong yoga practice.

About Developing Young Champions (Yoga for Kids)

I don't just teach stretching; I teach children how to align their bodies and minds. My sessions incorporate props like wall ropes and yoga wheels to safely guide them into advanced backbends and balancing poses. This builds the physical strength and mental discipline required to excel both in school and in daily life. Progress requires consistency, so bring them ready to work hard.

Building Foundation, Not Just Flexibility

Real yoga is an inner journey that starts young. In my kids' batches, the focus is on Chitta Vritti Nirodha—stilling the mind and building deep focus. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking for advanced training, I structure classes to build foundation strength, height, and concentration.

My Approach to Kids' Yoga:

  • Safe Alignment: Children are still growing. I use blocks, straps, and wall ropes to ensure they learn proper form in challenging postures like Urdhva Dhanurasana (Wheel Pose) without risking injury.
  • Structured Discipline: We operate on a 6-day a week schedule. This builds the habit of consistency. It is not just exercise; it is a discipline that translates to their academics and other sports.
  • Advanced Growth: From Mayurasana (Peacock Pose) to deep backbends, I push students to explore their physical potential. My goal is to see them master difficult poses that many adults struggle with.

Where and How We Train:

I conduct these intensive sessions at our studios in New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Vihar Phase-1. We offer group batches that are competitive and encouraging, fostering a community where children learn from one another.

  • Morning & Evening Slots: We work around school timings to ensure consistency.
  • Personalized Correction: Even in group settings, I monitor individual posture to ensure no bad habits are formed.

Parivartan mushkil hai, lekin zaroori hai (Change is tough but necessary). If you want your child to develop resilience, balance, and a strong core, this is where they belong.
