Whether you are practicing with Deepika Chalke or our Pune team leads, you receive personal, hands-on adjustments that prioritize your safety and long-term progress.
At Asan Yoga, we believe a teacher is a guide, not a dictator. Our instructors, including Deepika Chalke, Aishwarya Tayshetye, and Guntaas, are all RYT certified. This means they understand the complex mechanics of the human body as well as they understand the flow of the breath. We do not just teach poses; we teach body awareness.
Our team is built on diverse strengths. Guntaas leads our prenatal and Garbhasanskar sessions with a focus on maternal wellness. Shraddha brings her background in nutrition to help you build habits that go beyond the mat. If you are struggling with specific physical concerns, instructors like Tejal and Kenith Justin offer targeted guidance, using props like wall ropes and blocks to make poses accessible regardless of your current flexibility level.
We keep our batch sizes intimate, typically between 10 and 18 students. This is a deliberate choice. It allows us to offer the verbal cues and manual corrections you need to prevent injury and deepen your alignment.
