Each of these sculptures is carved from seasoned Vagai wood, selected for its natural durability and strength. We strictly follow traditional Shilpa Shastra iconometry, ensuring that the proportions, mudras, and expressions of deities like Lord Murugan or Shiva are precise and respectful. Your piece arrives with the official GI-certified tag from Thammampatty, guaranteeing its authentic origin.
For generations, artisans in Thammampatty have served as custodians of South Indian temple sculpture. When we carve a Sacred Guardian, such as Lord Murugan with his Vel or Lord Hanuman in his meditative stance, we utilize the same hand-carving methods our ancestors perfected.

We use seasoned hardwood, primarily Vagai, which is known for being termite-resistant and stable.
