Handcrafted Vaishnava Bronze Icons and Vishnu Sculptures
We create authentic, hand-cast bronze forms of Lord Vishnu, from the serene Ranganathar to the majestic Lord Rama. Each icon is made using the traditional Chola lost-wax technique in bronze or sacred Panchaloha.
This is the central figure of Lord Balaji from a three-piece set, cast in polished bronze. He is shown with four arms, holding the Sudarshana Chakra and Panchajanya conch, with his lower hands in the varada and katyavalambita mudras.
The goddess Bhoodevi, the earth goddess and consort of Vishnu, from a Balaji set. This piece is shown with a green oxide patina being applied, a finish that gives it an antique look.
The goddess Sridevi, the consort of Vishnu representing wealth, from a Balaji set. The polished bronze finish highlights her graceful posture and intricate jewelry.
A bronze sculpture of Lord Brahma, the creator god and part of the Hindu Trimurti. His four heads, representing the four Vedas, are sculpted with serene expressions.
This sculpture depicts Lord Vishnu in Ananthasayanam, reclining on the serpent Adishesha, with Mahalakshmi at his feet. It is a serene representation of the cosmic preserver in yogic sleep.
A different angle of the Ananthasayanam Vishnu, showing the intricate details of the serpent's coils and the base of cosmic waters represented by pots.
This is a sculpture of Parashurama, the sixth avatar of Vishnu, known for his warrior prowess. He is depicted holding his characteristic axe (parashu) and a bow.
A complete set of Lord Vishnu with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi. This 18-inch set is cast in bronze with a polished finish, perfect for a home altar.
A smaller, finely detailed set of Sri Balaji with Sridevi, Bhoodevi, and Padmavati. These miniature idols are perfect for personal worship and travel altars.
A small, finely detailed bronze sculpture of Lord Rama in the process of being finished. The artisan's hand gives a sense of the delicate work involved in creating even small icons.
About Vaishnava Traditions: Forms of Vishnu
When you commission a Vishnu icon, we work directly from your requirements to ensure the iconography follows traditional scriptural guidelines. We share video updates during the wax-modeling stage, so you can see the posture and expression take shape before we cast it in sacred Panchaloha or bronze. This gives you complete peace of mind that the final murti matches your vision perfectly.
Our studio in Swamimalai follows the ancient Sthapathi traditions passed down through generations. Whether you are looking for a serene, reclining Ranganathar, a majestic Lord Rama with his bow, or the fierce protector Ugra Narasimha, we approach every piece as a sacred responsibility.
We use the traditional lost-wax (cire perdue) casting technique. First, we shape your deity in wax, capturing intricate iconographic details like the specific mudras and alankara (ornaments). You review this wax model to ensure it meets your expectations before we proceed to casting. We work with both commercial-grade bronze and sacred Panchaloha—a traditional five-metal alloy highly regarded for temple worship. Every piece undergoes rigorous hand-chiseling to bring out the divine expression and fine features. We ship worldwide, using custom-built wooden crates to ensure your sculpture reaches you safely, whether you are in Bangalore or abroad. If you have a specific size in mind, from an 8-inch idol for your personal altar to a 3-foot temple-grade statue, just let us know your requirements.
