About Featured
In my sessions, I do not believe in a one size fits all approach. Whether you are joining my online shala or dropping into my Powai studio, you move at your own breath and pace. I guide you individually through the traditional Mysore sequence, focusing on steady progress and injury prevention rather than forcing postures.
My Approach to Yoga
I am a Level 1 Authorised Ashtanga Teacher from the Sharath Yoga Centre in Mysore. This means I teach exactly how I was taught, staying true to the parampara or lineage. My classes are not about copying my movements. In a Mysore style class, you memorize the sequence of the Ashtanga primary series. I move through the group to provide specific verbal corrections and alignment cues, helping you find your own rhythm.
Where We Practice
- Online Shala: You can practice from anywhere in India via Zoom. These sessions are interactive, providing the individual attention you need to build a sustainable home practice.
- Powai Studio: If you are in Mumbai, my morning classes in Powai offer a traditional, silent shala environment. We focus on discipline, breath, and the focused atmosphere of a shared space.
- Yoga Retreats: Sometimes, the best practice happens away from the city. I host weekend retreats in Lonavala where we disconnect from screens, eat plant based food, and deepen our practice through nature walks and intensive sessions.

Yoga is about how you live off the mat. My programs are designed to help you build strength, reduce stress, and find clarity, whether you are a complete beginner or returning after a long break.
