This is the heart of my practice—a collection of moments where breath meets movement. From quiet mornings to travel adventures, these images show that showing up is the only goal.

I find that the universe meets you at the depth of your surrender. Here, I am practicing Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, or One-Legged King Pigeon Pose, on a boat during a beautiful sunset in Lakshadweep. This is a deep backbend that opens the heart and hips, a moment of pure connection with nature.

Even the most advanced poses start with simple steps. This video shows some preparatory stretches for Kapotasana (Pigeon Pose), like Ustrasana (Camel Pose) and gentle backbends. My online classes focus on this step-by-step approach, making advanced yoga accessible to everyone with patience.

I believe in showing up on the mat no matter how you feel. This dynamic Ashtanga Vinyasa flow, moving from Ashtavakrasana (Eight-Angle Pose) to a handstand, is a reminder that our practice holds space for us whether we feel strong, tired, or joyful.

"Detachment is not that you own nothing. Detachment is that nothing owns you." This verse from the Bhagavad Gita guides my practice. Here, I move from Yogamudrasana in lotus pose to a squat, reflecting on how yoga teaches us to be present without being consumed.

My yoga journey has evolved from practicing alone to sharing my mat with my son. This moment of practicing Agnisar Kriya while he chants the Gayatri Mantra beside me is a beautiful reminder of how yoga can be integrated into family life.

Let's explore the powerful cleansing techniques of yoga. This tutorial demonstrates Uddiyana Bandha (Abdominal Lock), Agnisar Kriya, and Nauli Kriya. These practices are excellent for digestive health and building deep core awareness, which I guide you through in my online classes.

Challenges are part of the journey. This was a super tricky toe balance inspired by another yogi, and it took me several tries. It’s a great example of how we practice patience and celebrate the effort, not just the perfect pose.

Finding moments of stillness and awareness in beautiful places. This is a deep backbend in a historic, moss-covered temple in Coorg during the monsoon. It’s a reminder to be fully present and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.

About Featured

I do not believe in forcing the body into perfect shapes. Whether I am practicing in a temple or on my living room mat while managing kids, the focus is always on consistency and breath. In my online sessions, I encourage you to do the same—use props like blocks or belts if you need them, move at your own pace, and listen to what your body requires on that specific day.
