Gentle Yoga Practices for Every Body

Yoga is about growing inside and listening to your body, not performing perfect poses. Explore my approach to strength, therapy, and mindful breathing.

This is my core belief: yoga is for every body. Here, I demonstrate how we can adapt advanced postures like Forearm Stands and Wheel Pose into more accessible variations like Dolphin and Bridge Pose. My goal is to help you find what feels good for you, without pressure or expectation.

If you spend hours at a desk, you know the feeling of a slouching back and tight shoulders. This video shows a few simple stretches using a wall, like the Wall Fold and Standing Backbend, to help open your chest and improve your posture. These are perfect for my Corporate Yoga sessions.

Pranayama, or breathwork, is the heart of our practice. In this tutorial, I guide you through Anuloma Viloma, or alternate nostril breathing, a technique to calm the nervous system. I explain the hand mudra and the breathing ratio to help you get started.

Back pain is something many of us experience. I've put together a sequence of gentle, supine postures like Bridge Pose and Happy Baby Pose designed to strengthen the core and release tension in the lower back. This is a key part of my Therapy Yoga approach.

Downward Facing Dog, or Adho Mukha Svanasana, is a foundational pose we return to often. This detailed guide breaks down the alignment for your hands, torso, and legs, including modifications like bending your knees to protect your lower back if you have tight hamstrings.

Props are our friends in yoga. This video shows how to use yoga blocks to make poses like Parsvottanasana and Ustrasana (Camel Pose) more accessible. Using props helps you maintain alignment and get the benefits of the pose without straining your body.

My journey to becoming a yoga teacher began after I left a decade-long corporate career. This practice has been my calling, bringing purpose and joy to my life. I share this because I want you to know that it's never too late to find what makes your soul happy.

About this collection

I focus on functional alignment, using props like blocks or wall support to make poses accessible for your unique build. Whether you are dealing with chronic lower back pain or just need to release 'tech neck' from a long day at a desk, we modify every movement to ensure it feels safe and sustainable for you.

For me, yoga is not about flexibility. It is a process of coming closer to yourself. My practice is designed for real people—moms-to-be, professionals struggling with sedentary stiffness, or anyone recovering from an injury—who want to move without pain or pressure.

My Approach

My sessions are rooted in Hatha Yoga, but we do not chase 'perfect' shapes. If you cannot touch your toes, that is perfectly fine. We use props like straps, blocks, and wall supports to meet your body where it is today. My goal is to build strength and mobility while helping you lower your stress levels through Pranayama (breathwork).

Programs for Your Life

I offer three main tracks, each designed for specific needs:

  • Corporate Detox: We focus on reversing the physical impact of 9-to-5 desk jobs. This includes chest openers to correct hunching and wrist drills to prevent carpal tunnel issues.
  • Therapy Yoga: If you struggle with sciatica, cervical issues, or lumbar pain, we use anatomy-based micro-adjustments to find relief. We focus on slow, restorative movements that prioritize healing over intensity.
  • Pre & Postnatal: These sessions are highly specialized for the changing body, focusing on pelvic floor strength, labor preparation, and postpartum core recovery.

How We Start

I work 1-on-1, typically at your home in Bengaluru. Every new student begins with a 15-minute movement screening. This helps me identify your pain triggers and range of motion before we even start the actual practice. Whether we use a standard yoga mat or simply the space next to your work desk, my priority is keeping your practice safe, consistent, and effective.

I left a decade-long corporate career because I found that yoga brought me the balance and joy I was missing. Now, I help you find that same connection through classes that honor your body and your pace.
