Group Yoga Classes: In-Studio & Online
Join a small, intentional community where we move with breath and focus on feeling strong in your own skin, rather than just perfecting a pose.
Self-love can look like monotony. It's the discipline of showing up repeatedly, even when it's boring or hard. I'm so proud of my students' consistency at the studio; seeing their familiar faces makes my day.
After some time away to heal and hold space for my family, I am returning. I'm happy to announce new batches starting, both online and in our brand new offline space at Lift Studios in Kochi. Let's begin again, together.
Clearing up some confusion about my class schedule. I offer both offline classes at Lift Studios in Kochi and a variety of online classes for morning and evening practitioners. Check the schedule and find a time that works for you.
Movement is essential, especially for women over 35, as our bodies begin to change. From maintaining muscle mass to boosting metabolism and protecting bone health, a consistent practice like this one helps you age gracefully and strongly.
I'm excited to announce a new collaboration with Lift Fitness and Wellness Studio in Kochi. We are starting traditional Samasthiti Yoga classes to help you build alignment, awareness, and strength. Join us to find some calm in your daily life.
Big news! I'm starting offline Samasthiti Yoga classes at the beautiful new Lift Studios space in Kochi. After teaching online for so long, I can't wait to connect and guide you in person.
People ask how I manage it all. The secret is to jump through life with the same focus and energy I use on the mat. And yes, that's one of my furry babies making a guest appearance.
Even after months apart, practicing with my husband feels like coming home. It's a reminder that a shared practice can keep you connected, no matter the distance. Here we are flowing together.
I don't spend all my time upside down. My love for yoga began with simple asanas like Virabhadrasana II, or Warrior Pose. A basic flow is still my go-to for an everyday practice.
Coming back to reality after a vacation is always a challenge. The key for me is to embrace the routine, stay organized, and ease back into my practice to conquer those post-vacation blues.
About Group Classes: In-Studio & Online
I cap my studio batches at 12 students for a reason. With fewer people, I can offer the manual adjustments and specific posture corrections that keep your joints safe and your alignment sound. Whether you are in my studio in Kochi or joining via Zoom, my goal is to guide you through a session where you leave feeling more connected to your body than when you started.
Building a Sustainable Rhythm
I do not teach yoga to help you tick boxes or perform for Instagram. My classes are structured around Samasthiti Yoga and functional mobility, focusing on what your body actually needs: strong bones, happy joints, and a quiet mind. Whether you attend my sessions at Lift Fitness and Wellness Studio in Kochi or join our live Zoom sessions, the approach remains the same. We focus on alignment, breathwork, and long-term strength.
Why Small Batches Matter
Yoga is often taught in crowded halls where personal attention gets lost. I avoid this. By capping my offline studio batches at 12 students, I ensure that everyone gets the individual attention they deserve. If you are struggling with a specific pose, I am there to offer a physical adjustment or a prop modification. It is about understanding the mechanics of your own movement, not imitating mine.
Practical Details
- Offline Sessions: Held at Lift Fitness and Wellness Studio in Kochi. We have professional-grade impact-absorption flooring, AC, and a soundproofed environment. It is a space designed for focus.
- Online Sessions: These are not pre-recorded videos. I teach live on Zoom, keeping my eyes on the screen to offer real-time verbal feedback. If you miss a live session, you have 24-hour access to the recording.
- Consistency: We meet 3 times a week, ensuring you build a habit that sticks. I don't believe in hype; I believe in the simple, often repetitive work of showing up.
Who is this for?
These classes are for the beginners who can't touch their toes, the desk workers dealing with stiff backs, and anyone looking for a practice that fits into real life. If you are looking to build foundational strength and move without guilt, you are in the right place.
Sangeeta Kalyan
I spent 20 years learning that your body is not a project to be fixed. It is a home you learn to inhabit. Whether we are in my Kochi studio or connecting over Zoom, my classes are about building a rhythm that lasts, not chasing fleeting motivation.
