Yoga is at its best when we do it together. From advanced inversion workshops to playful community gatherings, these events are where we learn, wobble, and grow as a group.

I recently participated in a 5K run after 20 years. While the run was a challenge, my favorite part was leading the delicious post-run stretch session. It was a great reminder of how yoga supports all other athletic activities.

There's something special about teaching in a place steeped in history. Guiding a class for guests at the Kara Hotel in Fort Kochi, surrounded by art and heritage, makes for incredibly grounding and mindful mornings.

One of the highlights of my year is sharing yoga with children on International Yoga Day. Their unfiltered energy and curiosity at Choice Kinderland reminded me that yoga is ultimately about joy and playfulness.

That's a wrap on our Yoga Advancement Saturdays series. For six weeks, we dove deep into backbends, inversions, and arm balances. It was a joy to see so many dedicated practitioners elevate their practice.

This is the last Saturday of our Yoga Advancement Series, and we're opening it to all levels. We will be exploring headstands and handstands in a hands-on, supportive environment. Walk-ins are welcome.

This Saturday in our advancement series, we're focusing on Pincha Mayurasana and other arm balances. These workshops are for intermediate and advanced practitioners looking to refine their skills. Walk-ins are welcome.

You deserve a Saturday like this. Our Yoga Advancement series at Lift Studio is a dedicated time to explore deeper aspects of your practice, from hip openers to backbends, in a focused group setting.

This could be you this Saturday. Our advancement workshop is focusing on deep backbends, using props and partner assists to help you open your spine safely.

Join us this Saturday for our Yoga Advancement series. This week, we are working on hip openers and backbends, moving through a dynamic flow designed to build strength and flexibility.

How much movement do women really need? According to health organizations, even small amounts of daily activity can improve overall health. My classes are designed to help you meet those goals in a mindful way.

About Workshops & Community Events

Most of these workshops happen on Saturday mornings at Lift Studio. I keep these batches small and limited in size so I can physically spot you during challenging backbends or inversions. It is not just about performing the pose; it is about having a pair of eyes on you to make sure you are moving safely and actually understanding the mechanics behind the lift.

Why I Host Workshops

I believe the mat is a place for connection. While my regular classes build daily habits, these workshops are for when we need to dive deeper. Whether it is refining a tricky arm balance, learning to move without guilt during a 5K run, or simply coming together for a 'Pawga' session with rescue pets, these events break the monotony of a solo practice.

What to Expect

  • Technique Focus: In my 'Yoga Advancement' series, we don't just flow. We break down the physics of headstands and backbends. You will learn the 'why' behind the movement, not just the 'how'.
  • Safe Progression: I use props like blocks and walls to ensure you aren't just forcing your body into shapes it isn't ready for. My focus is on strong bones and healthy joints, so we prioritize alignment over aesthetics.
  • Community Vibe: I love teaching in unique spaces. From heritage properties like the Kara Hotel to the high-energy environment of Lift Studio in Kochi, the venue often dictates the energy of the class.

Who Should Join?

If you have been practicing for a while and feel like you have hit a plateau, or if you simply want a community that laughs when someone wobbles, this is for you. I don't promise perfection. I promise that you will show up, you will work hard, and you will leave with a better understanding of your body.

We keep the groups capped to ensure everyone gets hands-on corrections. If you are looking to challenge your current limits, check my upcoming weekend schedule and book your spot early.
