About Our Studio & Community
When you walk into our studio in Arekere, you will notice one thing immediately: we use props like wooden blocks and bolsters for everyone. This is not because we are lazy, but because your body deserves the right support to achieve correct alignment safely. Whether you are recovering from a back injury or struggling with stiffness, these props ensure you get the full benefits of every asana without strain.
Many studios treat yoga like a high-intensity gym workout, but at Sanatan Yoga, we look at the practice as a system for total well-being. Our community in Arekere is a mix of people working through different phases of life—some are here for PCOD management, others to fix chronic back pain, and many just to find a quiet hour in their busy Bengaluru schedule.
We keep our group classes intimate enough that I can personally check your posture and adjust your alignment. We don't focus on the 'fancy' poses you see on social media. We start with the basics, using traditional Hatha Yoga techniques to build a foundation. You will find us chanting Om together, practicing deep relaxation, and supporting each other's progress.
If you are near Arekere or Banerghatta, drop by. We are not just a place to exercise; we are a space to grow, share your journey, and find consistency in your practice. We believe in the power of Sangha (community)—practicing together makes the discipline easier and the healing faster.
