About this collection
A simple habit I teach in every class is sitting in Vajrasana for 10 minutes right after a meal. Many people rush to walk, but this diverts blood circulation away from the stomach, which often leads to bloating and poor digestion. It sounds like a small change, but I have seen many students fix chronic gut issues just by correcting this one timing mistake.
Beyond the Mat
At Sanatan Yoga Studio, we don't just focus on the one hour you spend on the mat. Yoga is a 24-hour commitment. If you are struggling with weight or energy levels, the problem often isn't the workout—it is the lifestyle choices you make in the hours before and after your practice.
Why Your Routine Matters
Many of my students come to me frustrated because they exercise but don't see results. Usually, it comes down to a few core things:
- Digestion Timing: Your body's Agni (digestive fire) is sensitive. Eating dinner post-8 PM or skipping breakfast forces your stomach to overwork, slowing down your metabolism.
- Calorie Logic: You cannot out-train a poor diet. I help you understand how to balance your intake without restrictive, unsustainable fad diets.
- The 'Correct' Practice: I often see people trying complex poses from YouTube that aren't suitable for their specific health needs. Whether you are dealing with PCOD, back pain, or thyroid issues, alignment matters. If you do it wrong, you won't see results; if you do it right, the healing is automatic.
My Approach to Well-Being
I believe in using traditional Hatha Yoga to heal. We don't do 'Power' or 'Puppy' yoga here. We stick to the Shastras. This means focusing on deep relaxation, pranayama for stress management, and clear, actionable lifestyle advice that fits into your life in Arekere or Bengaluru.
