A look back at the big changes our community made together in 2024. This collage celebrates the thousands of hours of calm mind practice and the many unique formats we explored, from Yoga Nidra to Reformer Pilates.

As the program director and senior instructor, I am here to guide and support our community. My goal is to help each member find their own version of a calm, stress-free mind through our shared practice.

About this collection

In 2024 alone, our community collectively dedicated over 2,000 hours to the practice of stillness and movement. Rather than focusing on calorie counts or aesthetic goals, we track these hours to celebrate the simple, powerful act of showing up for yourself, whether you joined us for Yoga Nidra, aerial flows, or our reformer pilates sessions.

What makes SAMA unique is not the equipment we use, but the community that shows up to use it. When we talk about milestones, we are not counting personal bests in terms of weight lifted or speed. We are measuring quiet breakthroughs: the ability to disconnect from your phone for an hour, the capacity to sit in silence, and the consistency of a regular practice.

Why Our Community Matters

We know that fitness can often feel like a competition. At our studios in Whitefield, specifically in Siddapura and Hopefarm, we have intentionally removed mirrors and loud music to strip away that pressure. Instead of performing for others, you are here to practice for yourself. This environment attracts people who find typical gyms overwhelming—beginners, parents, and working professionals who need to quiet their minds as much as they need to strengthen their bodies.

Milestones Beyond the Mat

Our 2024 achievements—including over 20 unique practice formats and thousands of hours of calm—are just markers of how we are collectively redefining health. We don't believe in quick fixes. We believe in the compounding effect of showing up two or three times a week for classes like mindful strength or sound baths.
