Our Calm Mind Sanctuary in Whitefield
Step away from the noise. Our studio is built to be a quiet, clutter-free space where you can focus on movement and meditation, without mirrors or phones to distract you.
Welcome to our practice space. I designed it to be open, light-filled, and free of clutter and mirrors, so your attention can remain on your inner experience rather than your outer reflection.
We are open seven days a week with several class times to fit your schedule. This image shows our current timings overlaid on a view of our calm studio during a meditation session.
SAMA, or 'सम', is a Sanskrit word for a state of balance and tranquility. This name is the foundation of our studio and a reminder of the calm mind we cultivate here.

About this collection
The first thing you will notice here is the silence. We have a strict digital detox policy and, more importantly, no mirrors. This is not just an aesthetic choice; it is about removing the urge to check your form or compare yourself to others. When you step onto the mat in our Whitefield studio, you are here to feel the movement in your body, not judge how it looks. We keep our batches between 6 and 12 people so that the atmosphere remains grounded, personal, and quiet.
Our studio was designed to be the antidote to the hustle culture that dominates modern fitness. We recognized that most gyms are overwhelming—filled with loud music, blaring screens, and a competitive edge that can make anyone feel self-conscious. At SAMA, we have removed those distractions. You will find a light-filled, clean environment equipped with premium mats, bolsters, and smart resistance technology, but absolutely no mirrors. By removing reflective surfaces, we help you focus entirely on proprioception—understanding where your body is in space—rather than your reflection.
We operate with a commitment to a digital detox. Upon entering, your phone goes into a secure locker. This is a practical step to ensure that when you are here, you are truly present. Our sessions are structured to bridge the gap between physical effort and mental restoration. A typical class moves through functional strength work—often utilizing the Aroleap wall-mounted system or bodyweight exercises—before settling into a dedicated 25 to 30 minutes of guided relaxation, such as Yoga Nidra or sound therapy. This transition is essential for nervous system regulation.
Whether you visit our Siddapura or Hopefarm location in Whitefield, the experience remains consistent. We are not a high-volume, quick-turnover studio. We prefer small groups because it allows for actual guidance and form correction without the chaotic energy of a packed room. If you are looking for a place to build strength without high-impact stress, or simply need a safe space to practice mindfulness, this is a sanctuary built for that purpose.
Sama
We started SAMA because we were tired of fitness being about hustle and noise. We wanted to create a place that feels like a genuine break from the screens and distractions of modern life. It is not about looking a certain way; it is about showing up for yourself.
