About Our Community & Yogshala
We believe the mat is a place for internal focus, which is why you will not find any mirrors in our studio. By removing the visual distraction of checking your form, we help you shift your attention to your breath and body sensations, making practice a deeper experience of self-discovery rather than a performance.
At my Yogshala in Kailash Colony, we have intentionally designed a bright, air-conditioned space with large windows and white-tiled floors to create a sense of openness and calm. The lack of mirrors is central to our philosophy. It encourages you to tune into your own alignment and sensations, rather than worrying about your reflection.
This space is not just for asanas. It is a 'sangha', or a community, where we grow together. Whether you are joining a Hatha flow, a partner yoga session, or our Friday sound healing circles, you are stepping into an environment that welcomes all levels—from absolute beginners to seasoned practitioners.
We keep our group sizes intimate, typically capped at 10 to 14 students. This allows for genuine individual correction and ensures that nobody gets lost in the crowd. When you step into this studio, you are not just walking into a fitness class. You are entering a supportive environment designed to help you disconnect from the noise of the city and reconnect with yourself. If you are looking for a place to practice that feels more like a home than a gym, you have found it.
