About Hatha & Vinyasa: Foundational Flows
Unlike most studios, we have no mirrors here. This is a deliberate choice to help you focus entirely on your internal alignment and breath instead of your reflection. We keep our group classes limited to 10-14 students, ensuring you receive consistent, personal posture correction from me throughout your practice.
Our studio in Kailash Colony serves as a community space where we strip away the distraction of performance.
The Difference in Our Flow
-
Hatha Yoga: We slow things down. By holding foundational postures, we build deep muscular strength and allow the nervous system to settle. It is ideal for those who want to understand the mechanics of each pose and build a sustainable practice.
-
Vinyasa Flow: When you are ready to pick up the pace, our Vinyasa classes link breath with movement. It becomes a moving meditation, keeping your heart rate steady and your mind anchored in the present.
Why No Mirrors?
In many modern studios, the mirror becomes a source of judgment. Here, you learn to feel the pose from the inside. We use props like danda (wooden sticks), blocks, and chairs to help your body find its natural alignment without forcing it into shapes that don't fit. This approach makes yoga accessible whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner.
Our Location in Kailash Colony
We are situated right in the heart of Kailash Colony Market. The studio receives plenty of natural light and provides a quiet escape from the bustle of South Delhi. Whether you are coming for a morning energizer or an evening release, the space is designed to help you transition from the noise of the city to the stillness of the mat.
Rati's Yoga
I am Rati. I built this Yogshala because I wanted a space that felt like a sanctuary, not a gym. We focus on the traditional roots of yoga, helping you build strength and flexibility while staying grounded in your breath. Come as you are, and let us find that balance together.
