Props aren't just for beginners; they are the bridges that help you meet your body where it is today. At our Kailash Colony studio, we use blocks, sticks, wheels, and chairs to make every movement safe, aligned, and deeply rewarding.

This class demonstrates how yoga blocks can support and deepen your practice. We use them to find balance, open tight muscles safely, and experience poses more fully without pushing through discomfort.

Yoga with a stick, or Danda yoga, is a powerful tool for improving posture and alignment. Here, students use the stick to guide their movements, ensuring a controlled and effective stretch.

Chair yoga makes the practice accessible to everyone, regardless of flexibility or mobility. This video shows how we use a simple chair to support various asanas, from seated twists to standing balances.

We incorporate light weights into our yoga practice to build functional strength and tone muscles. This dynamic flow combines traditional asanas with resistance for a full-body workout.

A dynamic wheel yoga class in action. Students use the wheel to challenge their balance and deepen their poses, turning a simple downward dog into a core-strengthening exercise.

Using yoga straps to deepen a seated forward bend. This prop helps students gently lengthen their hamstrings and spine without compromising their form.

A glimpse into our wheel yoga class, where students use the wheel for support in deep squats and twists. This prop is excellent for opening the hips and strengthening the core.

This clip shows the diversity of our prop-based classes, with some students using sticks for shoulder opening while others prepare for aerial yoga.

A full class using various props like chairs and wheels to modify and enhance their practice. This demonstrates our philosophy that yoga is adaptable for every individual.

About Yoga with Props: Supported & Strong

We often hear people ask if props are for 'serious' practitioners, but here at the studio, they are essential to how we move. Whether we are using a danda (stick) to open tight shoulders caused by long hours of desk work, or yoga blocks to find stability in a side plank, these tools ensure you build strength without straining your joints. You are not just 'getting by' with a prop; you are using it to unlock a deeper, more aligned version of a pose that might otherwise feel inaccessible.
