A glimpse of a group practice session at my home studio. The energy of the students learning together is wonderful.

Another day of dancing in the studio, aiming for perfection in every move.

An auspicious start to Vidyarambham at our academy, where new students are initiated into the world of learning.

When other girls are relaxing during their holidays, our students like Ridhima are busy using the time to practice.

We recently opened our new dance studio in Ramagondanahalli, near Whitefield. We look forward to enjoying many classes here.

The most fulfilling part of my journey is imparting this beautiful discipline to young kids. Admissions are open at our Whitefield academy.

Our class routine includes warm-ups, adavu practice, theory, and a review of what needs to be practiced at home.

About Our Studio & Classes

The studio in Ramagondanahalli is built for focused practice, but the most important feature isn't the flooring—it's the view. Looking out at the greenery helps ground our students before we dive into warm-ups and Adavu practice. It creates a quiet, natural environment where adults and children can leave their busy schedules behind and focus entirely on their technique.

A Space for Discipline and Growth

Learning a classical art form like Bharatanatyam requires more than just steps; it requires a setting that allows for deep focus. My studio in Ramagondanahalli, Whitefield, was created to provide exactly that. We have moved away from the distractions of the city to ensure that when you step into the room, your entire energy is directed toward the dance.

Our Training Approach

We follow the traditional Kalakshetra curriculum, which starts with a strong foundation in Adavu practice. I believe this is non-negotiable. Whether you are a child just starting your journey or a working professional returning to dance, we focus on:

  • Hybrid Supervision: While our senior disciples lead the primary instruction, I oversee and correct every batch. This ensures consistent quality.
  • Holistic Warm-ups: Every session includes 15 minutes of yoga-based conditioning. It helps with flexibility and the deep Araimandi posture, which is essential for injury prevention.
  • Individualized Pacing: I do not believe in rushing students. If you need more time to perfect a movement, you take it. My job is to guide you, not push you into a mould.

Joining Our Community

We keep our batch sizes small—usually around 10 to 15 students—to ensure that every dancer gets enough visibility and personal correction. If you cannot make it to the physical studio, our online sessions are designed to mirror the same structure, with detailed feedback provided via practice videos. We also host regular events and annual performances, giving you a chance to apply what you have learned in a real-world setting.
