Arangetram: The Grand Debut
The Arangetram is the culmination of years of dedicated training, marking a student's first solo performance. I guide each dancer through this intensive preparation, from selecting items and costumes to their final, proud moment on stage.
Salangai Pooja: A Sacred Milestone
The Salangai Pooja is a beautiful ceremony where a student first receives their dancing bells, or salangai. It marks a significant step in their journey, and we celebrate it with a special performance for family and friends.
The Learning Process: In the Studio
My teaching is rooted in the strong basics and discipline I learned from my gurus. We focus on rigorous Adavu practice, understanding the theory of talas and shlokas, and providing individual attention to help every student grow at their own pace.
Our Community: Students of All Ages
My classes are a welcoming space for everyone, from children as young as five to busy working professionals and mothers reconnecting with dance. It is wonderful to see students of different ages and backgrounds learning and growing together.
On Stage: Performances & Achievements
Performing is a vital part of the dance journey, building confidence and bringing the art to life. We provide many opportunities for students to showcase their talent, including our annual day, studio concerts, temple festivals, and public competitions.

My path to becoming a teacher was unexpected, but it has been my passion for 25 years. Here, I share some personal stories about my own training, my teaching philosophy, and insights into the beautiful art of Bharatanatyam.
Our Studio & Classes
Our academy is located in Ramagondanahalli, Whitefield, offering a peaceful and motivating environment for learning. We have both in-person classes in our new studio and online options for those who are far away.
