About this collection
Our Bharatanatyam curriculum follows the traditional Kalakshetra style, focusing on rigorous technique, posture, and the theoretical foundation required for formal certification exams. Whether you are a beginner or a senior student, the training ensures you develop the precision and stamina needed for stage performances and authentic classical expression.
Bharatanatyam is a complex language of movement, and our approach at Trikayaa ensures you understand every word. We structure our sessions to balance physical endurance with the nuances of abhinaya (expression) and rhythm.
The Kalakshetra Foundation
We strictly follow the Kalakshetra style, known for its clean lines and geometric precision. For beginners, the focus is on mastering the fundamental adavus—the basic steps that form the building blocks of the dance. As you progress, we introduce the theoretical concepts of Natyashastra, giving you the historical and spiritual context behind the movements you perform.
Certification and Exams
We recognize that many students seek formal validation for their hard work. Our syllabus is aligned with recognized boards, including Gandharva and Prayag Sangeet Samiti. We provide the necessary theoretical and practical support for students to sit for these certification exams, ensuring your training is internationally recognized.
From Studio to Stage
We do not believe dance should remain confined to the classroom. Our students are regularly prepared for stage performances, from our annual 'Sanskriti' showcase at venues like Kamani Auditorium to smaller community events. We emphasize stage readiness, including training in makeup, costume maintenance, and stage presence.
Batch Structure
We offer age-segregated batches for kids, teens, and adults to ensure that the pace of learning matches the student's physical and mental development. Whether you are looking for a lifelong pursuit or a disciplined physical activity in Indirapuram, our classes provide the environment to grow as a dancer.
