I never planned to become a dance teacher. After an MBA and years abroad, it just happened. Now, it’s been 25 years, and I’ve found my real passion. My academy in Bengaluru is where I share what I learned from my gurus, especially the legendary Adyar K. Lakshman. That old-school discipline is tough, but I also know each dancer finds their own pace. I want my students to feel the same drive, but with encouragement, not pressure.
Kids above five, teens, adults, even busy professionals - everyone’s welcome. Some of my students are mothers and working folks who sneak in classes between their schedules. Age really doesn’t matter here. If you’re curious or want to reconnect with dance, you’ll fit right in.
We start with strong basics. Adavu practice is the backbone - I won’t lie, it’s hard work but worth it. You’ll reach milestones like the Salangai Pooja ceremony (your first dancing bells), and for those who stick with it, I guide you through Arangetram preparation - a proud moment on stage.
Bharatanatyam here means learning the stories, the culture, and the mythology behind every movement. We offer real performance opportunities: annual day, temple festivals, competitions. I help with makeup and costumes too - nothing fancy, just practical tips so you feel confident.
Classes happen in our studio in Ramagondanahalli, Whitefield, or online for those far away. Flexible, practical, and always about growing together.

My Story
My Work
Bharatanatyam Classes (Online & In Person) - We teach kids, adults, working folks—everyone. From basics to Salangai Pooja and Arangetram coaching.
Individualized Learning - No cookie-cutter lessons. I go at your pace—some rush, some chill, all grow.
Growth Beyond Dance - Arangetram isn’t just a show. It’s discipline, stamina, confidence—watching students transform is the best part.
Legacy & Tradition - I learned from Vazhuvoor style gurus. Every class, every correction, it all builds up to those big moments.
