Our Homemade Fruit Jams
I make my jams just like ghar ka achaar — pure, natural, and full of fruit. No factories, no chemicals, just the real taste of fresh fruit cooked down with a little lemon and patience.
Our Black Grapes Jam has such a deep, rich fruit flavour. It is perfect on toast for a special breakfast treat.
For something a little different, try my Kiwi Jam. It has a bright, zesty taste that is wonderfully refreshing.
This is our special Raw Mango Jam. It is tangy, a little sweet, and completely natural. A truly unique flavour that has become a favourite.
A close look at the wonderful texture of our Apple Cinnamon Jam. You can see the real fruit pieces, cooked down with cinnamon sticks for a warm, aromatic spread.
Every spoonful of our jam is packed with real fruit. Here is our Apple Cinnamon jam, ready to be enjoyed.
About Our Homemade Fruit Jams
Because I do not use any chemical preservatives or artificial pectin, these jams have a soft, natural texture that is packed with real fruit chunks. Please keep your jar in the fridge as soon as you open it so the freshness stays locked in, just like the batches I stir in my own kitchen.
People often ask why my jams taste so different from what you find at the supermarket. The secret is patience. I start by sourcing fresh produce from local vendors, washing and sun-drying it, and then slow-cooking in small batches. This traditional method preserves the texture of the fruit, giving you a chunky, spreadable jam that actually tastes like the fruit it came from.
My range focuses on flavours that feel nostalgic and comforting. The Apple Cinnamon jam, for instance, is perfect for a slow Sunday breakfast, while the Raw Mango jam offers a tangy twist that is hard to find elsewhere. Since I avoid artificial thickeners and chemical preservatives, each jar is pure and requires refrigeration after opening.
Whether you are in Bengaluru and want to pick up a jar from my kitchen in Nagavarapalya, or you are across the country and need it shipped, I make sure each order is packed with care. Because we believe in quality over quantity, batches rotate based on seasonal availability. If you are ever unsure which one to pick, I always say the best way to know is to taste it. Ek baar try karke dekho (just try it once), and you will taste the difference that homemade preparation makes.
Pikkle Shikkle
I am the Punjabi Aunty behind Pikkle Shikkle, and I started this kitchen journey at 60 because I could not find real, preservative-free jams anywhere. My husband Ekbal and I handle everything, from selecting the local fruit to the final packaging, making sure you get the same 'ghar jaisa swaad' we grew up with.
